OP, what I'm getting from your post is that you make a point of whining about your life to women you know, who are probably mostly people you work with. The women are sick of hearing you bitch; that's why they don't engage whatever negative crap you constantly bring up. Who wants to listen to complaining? I was told, by a woman, when I was a teenager, that the proper response to being asked "how you're doing" is "great!" No one wants to hear a laundry list of negativity. In my personal life, my wife (separated) is the most negative person I have ever met. Even now she tells me how great it is that I'm positive and have taught her to be less negative. Stereotyping by gender is way too vague and incorrect. |
