OP, do NOT let these freaking cowards scare you! From what I've read, if youtube decides it's a copyright violation they'll remove the video and perhaps close your account for copyright violations.

It all depends on how important the video is (because, hey, we ARE talking google here, and we know how fucking corrupted that company is), and if you have verified *legal* proof it's not a copyright issue.

I would send them an email telling them you have permission from the copyright owner, and to go stuff it. Show NO FEAR. The worst that will happen is the above. But damn it, if you let them push you around, then exactly WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE? When they threaten you personally? When they kill your dog? These people react to fear. I wouldn't be afraid. I'd be pissed off.

The only thing going on is that it *could* be that the original video has copyright issues. So you should check with the original video owner. And if he's showing it, and you have his permission, then fuck these assholes.

If they were legit, they probably wouldn't either.

Youtube is controlled at best and flat out opposition at worst.

You guys just stepped in a giant pile of some Doom shit and you are describing the smell. This is an admission of guilt on behalf of the DNC and Clinton Campaign. They are Anonymous and used that front against John McCain in '08 and even to attack Bush towards the end of his Presidency. They are their own "CONTROLLED OPPOSITION".....The only alternative is they bought the vid from Anon to suppress it. Either way, fucking YUUUUUUUGE!

Step one: File a Dispute with Youtube.

State the following: 1) I have copyright permission from Anonymous to use their video, AND, 2) The material inside the video is subject to Fair Use for news and educations purposes under US Copyright law.

Then State: I challenge the legal standing of Robert Sicoli to engage in this dispute - who does he represent and what proof exists he is retained to represent the copyright holder.

File the dispute. Don;t worry about the legal mumbo jumbos, just file it.

Youtube will then go back to the claimant and ask him to prove he legally represents the copyright holder and to further prove the material is not subject to the fair use exemption. If he fails to respond, claim over in 30 days.
