2007 and the Days of Noah
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Matthew 24:37

The Days of Noah

The inspired Word tells us that Noah was born 1056 years after the creation of Adam. We find this by adding up the years from the birth of a son until the birth of that son’s son, as recorded in Genesis 5:3-29. The Word also tells us that the flood came upon the earth “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life….,” Genesis 7:11. This means that the flood occurred 1656 years after the creation of Adam; 1056 + 600 = 1656. The Scriptures also state, “And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years,” Genesis 9:28. This means that Noah lived a total of 950 years, just as stated in Genesis 9:29, dying 2006 years after the creation of Adam.

The Days of Noah are Past

December 31, 2006 marked the end of 2006 years of this present “dispensation of grace,” Ephesians 3:2 [Gentile calendar]. If we superimpose “the days of Noah” upon this present dispensation, we can then conclude that December 31, 2006 also marked the end of “the days of Noah” [Gentile calendar]. For those of our readers who don’t understand this statement, I will demonstrate it as follows…..

Superimposing the ancient “days of Noah” on the days that bring this present dispensation to an end is quite thought provoking. What I am wondering is if there was a

notable event that corresponds to the year 1056 in modern history? Was some notable

1

person born that year? Or was there a war, a plague, a religious or political uprising, or some other event that significantly altered the course of human history? Do any of our readers have knowledge of this particular year?

Likewise for the year 1656. Was there any significant event that occurred in 1656 that might have altered the course of human history? Can any of our readers fill in the blanks here? If so, I would appreciate hearing from you.

A New Beginning

A truth that is commonly overlooked or ignored is the fact that the very next year after the death of Noah, 2007 years after the creation of Adam, the Lord made a “new beginning” in the human race. Compare Psalm 90:4. It was during the year 2007 [from Adam’s creation] that Terah placed the “seed” in his wife’s womb that resulted in the birth of Abraham nine months later, Genesis 11:26-27. The day of the year that Noah actually died is not revealed in the Scriptures, but in round figures there was only a one year interval between the death of Noah and the birth of Abraham. We can conclude that only a very short time intervened between the death of Noah and the conception of Abraham in the womb of Terah’s wife. Abraham was born 2008 years after the creation of Adam.

The Correct Year

At this point I can almost see some of God’s people coming unglued. “Oh no! Abraham was born 1948 years after the creation of Adam.” Oh! Who said so? “Why, all the Bible dictionaries and commentaries say so.” Then they are all wrong!

Folks, I want to remind our readers that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God….,” 2 Timothy 3:16. Commentaries, Bible dictionaries, Bible atlases, etc. are written by uninspired men. Men often make mistakes, sometimes even when studying God’s Word. I urge our readers to depend upon God’s inspired Word, rather than upon fallible men [including myself]. Even your “favorite” preacher or author is subject to making mistakes. Don’t depend upon men. Get serious about God’s Word and study it for yourself. Emulate the Bereans, Acts 17:10-11.

Now I want to demonstrate for our readers…..

1. That Abraham was not the firstborn son of Terah, even though he is listed first in Genesis 11:26-27.

2. That Abraham’s year of birth can easily be determined by a careful study of God’s Word.

The Birth of Abraham

Folks, by continuing to add up the years from the birth of a son until the birth of that son’s son as recorded in Genesis 11:10-26, it becomes obvious that Terah, the father of Abraham, was born 1878 years after the creation of Adam. Add the genealogical records up for yourself. Then in Genesis 11:32 we are told that Terah was “two hundred and five years” of age when he died, and that he “died in Haran.” If we then add the 205 years of Terah’s life to the year of his birth, Terah died 2083 years after the creation of Adam. 1878 + 205 = 2083.

Remember that Terah “died in Haran.” This is stated quite clearly in Genesis 11:32. In Genesis 12:4 it is specifically stated that “…Abram was seventy and five years old

2

when he departed out of Haran.” Then in Acts 7:4 the inspired Scripture says, “Then came he [Abraham] out of the land of the Chaldeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.”

Now folks, just do the math. The inspired Word tells us that Terah was 205 years old when he died, and that he died in Haran. It also tells us that Abraham was 75 years old when he departed out of Haran, and that he departed out after Terah had died. Simple arithmetic. 205 – 75 = 130. Terah was 130 years old when Abraham was born. What can we conclude from this?

We can conclude that Abraham was not Terah’s firstborn child, for the Scripture emphatically states that Terah became a father when he was 70 years old, Genesis 11:26. It is obvious that Haran [or Nahor] was the son of Terah that was born 1948 years after the creation of Adam. Haran, and possibly even Nahor, were born before Abraham. The Scripture does not specifically state who was the eldest son in Terah’s family, but it is clear that it wasn’t Abraham.

We also know that Terah died 2083 years after the creation of Adam. Abraham was only 75 years old at that time. Therefore Abraham was born 2008 years after the creation of Adam. 2083 – 75 = 2008. You can also reverse the process. Terah was born 1878 years after the creation of Adam. When he was 130 years of age he fathered Abraham. 1878 + 130 = 2008. Folks, Abraham was born 2008 years after the creation of Adam, according to God’s inspired Word, and that settles the matter. Period! Those so-called “authorities,” [Bible dictionaries; Atlases; Commentaries; etc.] are wrong. The people that wrote or assembled them should have studied more and “opined” less.

The Application

Some readers may wonder why I have gone to such lengths to prove this point. Because the time of Abrahams conception and his birth are vitally important in view of God’s great prophetic plan of the ages. Noah died in the 2006th year after the creation of Adam. When we superimpose that period of time on this present “dispensation of grace,” the year 2006 has just ended [Gentile calendar]. The present “days of Noah” ended at midnight on December 31, 2006. They are over! It is time for the Lord to make “a new beginning.” Glory!

What can we then expect to occur in 2007? Just as the “seed” that was planted in the womb of Terah’s wife in the 2007th year resulted in the birth of Abraham in 2008, so the glorious “seed” of the gospel of Christ [Matthew 13:3-9; 13:18-23] will be planted in the hearts of the descendants of Abraham [the Jews] this year, resulting in the salvation and sealing of 144,000 of them in 2008. This year, 2007, the year following the end of “the days of Noah,” the Lord is going to make “a new beginning” for all of His people. Glory to God! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

This year, 2007, true believers [Jew and Gentile] saved during this present dispensation will be bodily removed from among humanity by the resurrection and rapture, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58. This is in fulfillment of the type set forth when “the days of Noah” ended with Noah’s death, bodily removing him from among mankind.

Immmediately following the resurrection and rapture of all true believers in Christ, God’s “two witnesses” [Revelation 11:3-12] will appear in the streets of Jerusalem preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, sowing the “seed of the gospel” [Matthew 13:3-9;18-23] in the hearts and minds of thousands of Jews. This will result in 144,000 of them being “born again”[John 3:3;7] and “sealed” [Revelation 7:1-8] by the Holy

3

Spirit in 2008, exactly as typified by the birth of Abraham 4000 years ago.

Glory! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Our Lord’s coming is at the door. Look up and be encouraged, my beloved brethren. Our redemption draweth nigh, Luke 21:28. [link to www.fivedoves.com]

Follow up – 2007 Study

By Pastor F. M. Riley

“God that made the world [kosmos] and all things therein…..hath determined the times [kairos…fixed time or season] before appointed…..,” Acts 17:24-26.

My Questions…

In my previous study entitled “2007,” which I sent out on January 15th, I asked our readers for information on the years 1056 and 1656 of this present Christian era. Several of our readers did take the time to reply, providing me with information that I consider very significant in view of “the days of Noah” and the approaching end of this present age. I want to sincerely thank those who took the time to send me the information I needed. Now I want to share with our readers information about the events that occurred during those two years, and hopefully, point out the significance of it.

1056

In my previous study I pointed out that Noah was born 1056 years after the creation of Adam. This is derived by counting the years from the creation of Adam until the birth of Seth, and then the years until the birth of his son, and then his son’s son, etc. as set forth in Genesis 5:3-29. If one continues to carefully study the chronological record, it reveals that Noah died 2006 years after the creation of Adam, Genesis 9:28. Therefore the actual “days of Noah” covered that period of time from 1056 to 2006 [after the creation of Adam]. The most significant event that occurred during that period of time was the flood, which occurred 1656 years after Adam’s creation.

Knowing that the Lord Himself had said, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be,” Matthew 24:37, in my previous study I superimposed that ancient time period upon this present time period that extends from the birth of Christ through the year, 2006. I did this simply because I was studying and searching to see if the Lord had a message for His people in comparing these two time periods. And, yes, He sure does! I urge my readers to read the previous study which appeared on Five Doves on January 15, 2007. Or, you can email me and I will send a copy of the study directly to you.

From God’s Word we know that Noah was born 1056 years after the creation of Adam. That year date correlates with the year 1056 A.D. when superimposed on this present time period. Now did anything happen in the year 1056 A.D. that would be of spiritual or prophetic significance? Let’s see…..

Signs in the Heavens

There were a number of important events that occurred in 1056, but I will mention only two of them for our readers.

In the year 1056 the Catholic religion split into two major factions, the Roman Catholics retaining religious supremacy in the west and the Greek Orthodox taking the reins of religious supremacy in the east. These two groups had been bickering with one

1

another over their differences [the Trinity; Papal authority; Baptism; Veneration of

saints and relics; language used in observing the Mass] for 500 years, but the official split occurred in 1056. This split in the ranks of Catholicism was highly significant in view of subsequent religious and Christian history.

But what I consider the most significant of all is hardly mentioned today. The year the Catholic religion split into two factions, the very year that marked the beginning of “the days of Noah” when correlated, a tremendous explosion occurred far out in space. A Chinese astronomer was watching the heavens at the very time the explosion occurred. That explosion created what we know today as the “Crab Nebula.” The explosion was so bright that it could be seen by the naked eye even in the day time. May I remind our readers that one of the purposes for which the Lord placed the “lights in the firmament of the heaven” was “for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years,” Genesis 1:14.

Now think about this! The very year that began “the days of Noah” [when correlated] was marked by an explosion in space that could be seen with the naked eye even in the day time. Noah died in the 2006th year after the creation of Adam. We who are living today have just seen the conclusion of the year, 2006, thereby ending “the days of Noah” [when correlated]. And guess what?

There is a huge new comet in space [Comet McNaught] right now that is so bright that it can be seen with the naked eye even in the day time. And astronomers are telling us that this comet is possibly going to become forty times brighter than the Planet Venus in the heavens. So in our Christian era “the days of Noah” began with a “sign” in the heavens, and it appears that they have ended with a “sign” in the heavens. Is all of this just coincidence? Think about it!

Now let’s move on and take a look at…..

1656

A number of readers also sent me information about this particular year. 1656 was the year that the flood occurred in “the days of Noah.” When superimposed on the time period in which we live, what occurred in 1656 A.D. that would have significance for humanity? There were numerous events that occurred that year, but again, two events that occurred in 1656 seemed especially significant.

The major event was that the Jews, through the intervention of Oliver Cromwell, were allowed to legally return to England that year, after an absence of some 400 years. A book could be written (and probably has been) on how the Jewish people shaped the destiny of both England and America in the years that followed. Glory!

Another event of note for that year was the death of Archbishop James Ussher, a staunch opponent of the Roman hierarchy, and one of the most brilliant chronologists who has ever lived. Many generations of God’s people have been blessed, and are still being blessed today, by Ussher’s work on Bible Chronology.

Worthy of Note

Before concluding this follow up, I want to call our reader’s attention again to year dates that were set forth in my first study.

Terah, the father of Abraham, was born 1878 years after the creation of Adam. When

2

the dates are superimposed on this Christian era, it was in 1878 that Petah Tikvah [meaning “the gate of hope”] was established in the Holy Land by the Jews. Petah Tikvah was the very first all Jewish community that the Turkish rulers had permitted the Jews to establish in the Holy Land in hundreds of years. Glory!

When Terah was 70 years old his first son was born. When this is superimposed on our history today, it correlates with the birth of Israel in 1948. 1878 + 70 = 1948. Glory! Praise the Lord!

Haran, the first son of Terah was an unbeliever and died before his father, Genesis 11:28. The Jewish people who established the nation of Israel in 1948 were unbelievers in relation to the true Messiah and Savior of Israel. Over the years many of them have died in unbelief, and nationally the Jews have not yet turned to their Messiah and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Fifty nine more years in the life of Terah passed before Abraham was conceived in the womb of Terah’s wife. Now superimpose this on our history today. 1948 + 59 = 2007. This year, 2007, is Israel’s 59th year of existence as a nation. Just coincidence? You know it isn’t! Glory! Hallelujah!

Then one more year [technically…9 months] went by. The next year [2008], when Terah was 130 years old, Abraham was born. 1878 + 130 = 2008. Abraham was born 60 years after Haran, his elder brother. Look at the figures! Haran was born 1948 years after the creation of Adam. 1948 + 60 = 2008. Again, superimpose this on our history today and what does it tell God’s people?

Conclusion

It tells us to “…look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh,” Luke 21:28. Folks, the Lord is coming for His people [those truly saved] this year [2007]. This is Israel’s 59th year. And this is the year [2007] that the “seed” of the gospel will be sown in the hearts of the descendants of Abraham, and at least 144,000 of them will come to spiritual birth next year [2008]. Glory! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Folks, we are nearly “HOME.” Let every true believer lift high the royal banner and fight the good fight of faith. Stand fast! Our warfare is nearly over. Our battle is nearly done. Very soon now we will hear our Great Commander sound the victory trumpet, and we shall go “HOME” to glory.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord,” 1 Corinthians 15:58.

Re: 2007 and the Days of Noah
Very good posting pastor!

I want to add something to you posting.
Did you know that the earliest time for the cleansing of the temple from the last time it was cleaned will be this year in April> I did s study on cleaning of the temple. I posted it.
Dr. Arnold Murray, a very good scholar had done this same study. He has a work out called : "Vision", item number 31198 on his list of tapes and cd's for sale. On that cd you will hear correct information that leads up to the next cleansing of the temple. The temple today is corrupt. Has been long before we all living on the planet were born.
I find the information that you put forth interesting, yet I feel that it is only suppositional information. Your dates and all are correct, in my opinion. But the reasoning behind the information does not mean a thing to me. Sorry! I am just trying to help the thread, not destroy it. What prophecy should I put with your information? That as in the days of Noah so shall it be in the latter days, is that what your teaching here?
In the days before the flood I believe the scriptures says. Matthew 24:37-38. The word "Before" is being used in verse 38. So what happened before the flood?
Well to put it as simply as I can; (the mixing of dna, hybrids, long neck giants, monsters, creation of animals that God did not create. Fallen angels, (Napha, "old style", Nafal, new style Hebrew word, meaning fallen.)When we see the fallen ones appear, defacto, then the Days of Noah of what Christ is teaching in that scriptures, is the beginning of the end of this dispensation. When they arrive, they will have only 5 months to do what they want. (REv. 9:5 and 9:10 confirm their time they have on earth before God steps in). (Christ said in Mark 13:20. Lost of Christian use that verse to suite their personal agenda or to back up their teachings. I post it to show that Christ shorten the time frame (hour of temptation) or no flesh shall be saved.
We could say then by what you have shown OP, that the time is ripe for all those events to take place. And they can as earyly as this spring.
Blessings to all
