Update for November 5th from Anonymous

Yes, NYPD supposedly gave the FBI until 5PM to go public before they did. It goes down today, if it goes down.

Well the good news is that they are correct in regards to how Exchange works. If the server was online when deleting emails, Exchange would have synced those changes to any other devices online that were set up to communicate with the Exchange server. They are stored locally as well as on the server to make it easy for searches, etc...

Had they deleted the emails while the server was online, those emails would have been deleted as well. Or, even if they had the server online, if that laptop was offline at the time they deleted the emails, the emails would have been kept as well, assuming that Exchange server never came back online after the deletion.
