December 19, 2016 - The Electors meet in their state and vote for President and Vice President on separate ballots.

December 28, 2016 - Electoral votes (the Certificates of Vote) must be received by the President of the Senate and the Archivist no later than nine days after the meeting of the electors. States face no legal penalty for failure to comply.

January 6, 2017 - The Congress meets in joint session to count the electoral votes. Congress may pass a law to change this date. ...the Senate then declares which persons, if any, have been elected President and Vice President of the United States.

With her concession, it's over. There will be no electoral vote.

I'm all for Trump, but this seems way too easy.

What law says no electoral vote if there's a concession?

It's called giving up, quitting in other words.

So electors won't follow the law (do their job) and vote?

VA electoral voting based on popular is 'customary' not a law like the other 25 states.

There's nearly 250 electoral votes that can still go either way, possibly giving Clinton the win. We won't know til January 6th or so.


My questions are- did hillary actually say she concedes in her speech? I can't stand to listen to her so I haven't listened... But if she did not officially concede there's still a chance to flip.

Also, since I gathered this info from archives.gov, I consider it the actual way it works. Why would the Clinton biased media start calling for her to concede? It just doesn't make sense that they would be encouraging her to concede when there's still potential for faithless electors to change.m
