I don't know anything about HIV in cats, so I don't know the symptoms.....but I know they can get run down really fast from fleas. They make them anemic and take all their energy, which can make every other disease worse.

I also have feral cats in my backyard. One of them is majorly allergic to fleas. Her hair all falls out and she has big, blotchy spots all over her back and sides....

So I finally got close enough to throw some Borax on her back and in a day or two, the hair had started growing back! And I wasn't even able to rub it into her hair....

I only know fleas can complicate a lot of issues!
