Reading the front page here the last week I'm not sure everyone gets it.

The only thing Democrats are trying to do is keep Congress. They know actual impeachment is impossible because Of the Senate and they're only doing this as red meat for their base.

If you're a Trump supporter the only thing you should be doing is laughing at the haters. Your team is in the driving seat and not slowing down. Act like it and enjoy while you can because fuck knows what comes after Trump.

I agree, that's why I am pretty chill about the whole thing. Trump is unstoppable, and the turn outs at his rallys, vs the turnouts at any of the lib rallys, tells the whole story.

Now, that said, I expect the libs to lose their collective shit on an epic level Nov 2020. The 2016 tantrum is nothing compared to the next one.

Yeah, can you imagine knowing everything that would happen for all time? But do you think he was the Word of God, as Bible says, that he was like an Oracle? Like women back in ancient Greece who were Oracles, channeling messages from the Gods? I like thinking about stuff like this. It fascinates me.

There's very little difference between humans and animals. In the Bible it says, "A soft answer turns away wrath". By not appearing aggressive you can placate most animals by not being afraid. The kangaroos stand up when they're afraid, so when they fight or when they're listening for dingoes or wild dogs. Besides starving kangaroos have been known to kick over and raid wheelie bins for food scraps, as for the pee you'll have to wash him with dog shampoo. Definitely the dingo they're just like normal dogs

Trump has engaged everyone, including people who wouldn't normally vote Republican.

Trump is a lot like Malcolm Turnbull in that he wasn't always a Conservative, but became a Conservative just prior to being elected. The result from Turnbull's election was a bun fight over the "Spirit of the Conservative party" where Turnbull was dismissed. This resulted in Conservatives dumping Turnbull in favor of Morrison after a challenge from Dutton. Morrison was lauded as the moderate compromise to Dutton's far right challenge, although Morrison wasn't as moderate as Turnbull.

Trump is a sure thing getting reelected, but Trump keeps blaming the Democrats/Obama holdovers/media as the "Deep State" and not the RINOs which enable them. RINOs which have lucrative careers waiting for them should they lose their elections amid their many contractor/lobbyist associates...

Trump's efforts to "drain the swamp" probably won't go as well as he intended, it's a big swamp.

I have played it once and I spit all the bad ones into a napkin as politely as possible. I have to say how it is kind of crazy how they get those flavors to be accurate or at least I think they are accurate since I have not actually eaten dead fish, dog food or vomit. *shudder* I am super picky. I won't eat a lot of things. I won't even eat most Polish food despite being from a Polish family. Merit likes the more traditional food like herring better than I do.

I couldn't do that politely, just smelling vomit brings up my lunch. That's why you get invited to all the dinner parties.

I'm guessing they make dogs smell the dog food one and watch for their tails to wag. :o

I've never had Polish food, I should buy some Polish sausage from a deli and try it. Herring is great, Aldi sells flavored Herring very cheaply and I can eat the same 4 flavors for a week. :)

Since Merit's post on how he decides whether people get to like him. I've actually been thinking about a trailer park buddy who seems to be heavily programmed by the memes on the chans. I thought the guy despite having a higher IQ than me was easily "influenced" into extreme ideologies. He believes Trump is destined to or should be a holy king of America for draining the swamp.

And then I thought about Ms TlvmmCpoft and about her trials with programming at an early age...

Then it dawned on me. The mental imagery, the trauma bonding through shared trials, all the conditioning, the weird belief I have (Or at least weird here at GLP.) that stable governance is paramount to a prosperous nation.

I really do think I've been programmed. Over the last few hours I've been questioning my subjective experience and everything I know, or at least what I think I know.

The only thing I'm sure of is how little I know. The more I think about it, the weirder my life gets. It just seemed so normal to me. It's like the elephant with a unbreakable chain on it's leg as an infant and when the elephant grows up the chain is a psychological barrier against freedom.

I could make an appointment with a psychologist, but I don't think they could help me unravel 40 years of seeming insanity. Actually they could certainly try; but I'm deeply concerned where it all leads to.

I'll probably be more happier if I just remain a blissfully unaware elephant. Besides; it's not like people are just going to tell me everything after spending my life under a mushroom in a dark forest.

The world seems to be under some epidemic of retarded adult disease. Grown ass men and women are all on the internet talking tough and "screaming" at ppl like 12 yr olds who don't realize that the internet is not real and that adults don't express opinions in that way if they want to be taking seriously.

The most incredible part of this is how many are far far past the age of knowing better. It's like we've lost most of our wise and centered elder influences and replaced them with ranting old cat ladies and dumb old angry drunk men.

We need more Roy Roger's and Johnny Carson's and less whatever the hell passes for respectable elder and statesman these days.
