Actually there is quite a few ppl I would like to meet at a GLP reunion, ESPECIALLY ones that dont like me or dont like Merit. It would be highly entertaining for me. In fact, those two posting like raving lunatics in the ABC thread would be great to meet LOL.

Ok, just let us put strait jackets on them and put them in padded rooms for their protection. We could even chain them to mental hospital beds so all they can do is rant crazytalk... That should be ok.

Omg, did you guys see Venice has flooded badly?

A couple weeks ago I mentioned I wanted to go there since I have not yet had the chance. I hope they can get a handle on it quickly before irreparable damage is done.

There's very little difference between humans and animals. In the Bible it says, "A soft answer turns away wrath". By not appearing aggressive you can placate most animals by not being afraid. The kangaroos stand up when they're afraid, so when they fight or when they're listening for dingoes or wild dogs. Besides starving kangaroos have been known to kick over and raid wheelie bins for food scraps, as for the pee you'll have to wash him with dog shampoo. Definitely the dingo they're just like normal dogs

With incel trillions you could irrigate the bush, so it would never be dry again and the koalas would be able to live in peace forever. I believe in your mission to save koalas and make the internet safe from the incel hoards.
Your life's work as the Great Koala Protector is a noble one and will no doubt bring a golden age for cute animals the world over. As people flock to your koala sanctuary to view and hugs koalas. People will laude you as Miss Mila the Grand Koala Savior.

Someone help me out here; Are there really ppl who don't understand Trump is getting re-elected?

I mean like him or don't like him whatever but the guy is a lock.

Reading the front page here the last week I'm not sure everyone gets it.

The only thing Democrats are trying to do is keep Congress. They know actual impeachment is impossible because Of the Senate and they're only doing this as red meat for their base.

If you're a Trump supporter the only thing you should be doing is laughing at the haters. Your team is in the driving seat and not slowing down. Act like it and enjoy while you can because fuck knows what comes after Trump.
 Quoting: Merit

Trump has engaged everyone, including people who wouldn't normally vote Republican.

Trump is a lot like Malcolm Turnbull in that he wasn't always a Conservative, but became a Conservative just prior to being elected. The result from Turnbull's election was a bun fight over the "Spirit of the Conservative party" where Turnbull was dismissed. This resulted in Conservatives dumping Turnbull in favor of Morrison after a challenge from Dutton. Morrison was lauded as the moderate compromise to Dutton's far right challenge, although Morrison wasn't as moderate as Turnbull.

Trump is a sure thing getting reelected, but Trump keeps blaming the Democrats/Obama holdovers/media as the "Deep State" and not the RINOs which enable them. RINOs which have lucrative careers waiting for them should they lose their elections amid their many contractor/lobbyist associates...

Trump's efforts to "drain the swamp" probably won't go as well as he intended, it's a big swamp.

I couldn't do that politely, just smelling vomit brings up my lunch. That's why you get invited to all the dinner parties.

I'm guessing they make dogs smell the dog food one and watch for their tails to wag. :o

I've never had Polish food, I should buy some Polish sausage from a deli and try it. Herring is great, Aldi sells flavored Herring very cheaply and I can eat the same 4 flavors for a week. :)

I edited my quote to seem less tardish... :(

Since Merit's post on how he decides whether people get to like him. I've actually been thinking about a trailer park buddy who seems to be heavily programmed by the memes on the chans. I thought the guy despite having a higher IQ than me was easily "influenced" into extreme ideologies. He believes Trump is destined to or should be a holy king of America for draining the swamp.

And then I thought about Ms t******* and about her trials with programming at an early age...

Then it dawned on me. The mental imagery, the trauma bonding through shared trials, all the conditioning, the weird belief I have (Or at least weird here at GLP.) that stable governance is paramount to a prosperous nation.

I really do think I've been programmed. Over the last few hours I've been questioning my subjective experience and everything I know, or at least what I think I know.

The only thing I'm sure of is how little I know. The more I think about it, the weirder my life gets. It just seemed so normal to me. It's like the elephant with a unbreakable chain on it's leg as an infant and when the elephant grows up the chain is a psychological barrier against freedom.

I could make an appointment with a psychologist, but I don't think they could help me unravel 40 years of seeming insanity. Actually they could certainly try; but I'm deeply concerned where it all leads to.

I'll probably be more happier if I just remain a blissfully unaware elephant. Besides; it's not like people are just going to tell me everything after spending my life under a mushroom in a dark forest.

Not only can I not think of a name, I can't even think through my own thoughts.
 Quoting: NowIhavetothinkofaname

You should definitely pick up some Polish sausages. You won't regret it. If you grill, put them on the grill. Oh, you guys call it a barbie right? If not, put them in an air fryer if you have one or just slice them up and pan fry them with some onions. Get the smoked garlicky ones. Hungarian sausage is also good.

When you think you know nothing, you are open to learning more and maybe crave knowledge. It is a good thing. Also, crazy people never say they are crazy because they dont know they are crazy. Insanity doesnt recognize itself. I dont think you are crazy.

No way, koalas aren't house animals.

It's neigh on impossible to house train them and their pee smells strongly of eucalyptus! Carers have them wear diapers...

I have a solution though, you just need a small forest of eucalyptus trees then you can grab them and hug them when they travel between trees. :)

As for the Siamese that should be an easy sale. Everyone loves the pictures of your cute cat and he looks kind of goofy so he's funny.

Nope, and I have no plan of watching it.

I don't think Trump is a zombie, although I have some doubts about some of his followers... Especially those that say they'd fight a civil war over Trump being removed just because they believe his persona they saw on his reality TV show...

I get why American Conservatives hate American Liberals.

If a drag queen showed up to put on a show at my local library, I'd organise a protest with the hope someone dumb assaults the loser.

I don't care what happens in people's bedrooms, heck I had a gay neighbor hit on me and he was a cool dood. But having an "adult" entertainer in a family friendly environment where there's kids is morally repugnant.

As for a mass shooting there's always someone dumb enough to do that, anyone whose rich can pay derelict loser to do things they wouldn't do themselves.

I'm looking forward to finding and eating Polish sausages. Smoked garlic ones sound awesome. I know a dood with a big six burner barbeque but his gas bottle is empty. :(

I'm definitely crazy. I told a buddy's mother, "I'm crazy, my mother had me tested..." Like a parody of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory and she said she didn't think I was crazy too.

After Merit's post about deciding who likes him and taking stock of my life. I can definitely say, "My life is definitely an interesting one and one that if a book was written about, no one would believe it." There are days where I don't believe my life and I lived it!

Truth is stranger than fiction.

There's one chapter where a former buddy from high school laced my drink with amphetamines. Normally I'd assume the brain thinks it hears voices based on misfiring neurons in the auditory cortex.

I always thought amphetamine psychosis was random voices our brain interpreted into voices we knew talking to us. But I heard a lucid voice claiming to be some dood from "The Order" and it didn't matter who he was. The weird thing was he had a message for me that would change my life.

The message was, "If I remained self destructive, no one would ever be able to force or compel me to do anything I didn't want to."

I thought about it and it made perfect sense. In that if I was hell bent on self destruction, then no one could ever blackmail me... When I thought about it, it blew my mind. :o

I still don't understand what exactly happened, but I've been certifiably crazy ever since.

OMG! It's hot... It's 34 degrees at 35% humidity and I'm thinking calling myself Boiled Froggy.

That's 93.6 F for everyone from America. I know it doesn't sound hot but the humidity is what makes it so bad. Normally it's 27 degrees at 50 to 60% humidity.

I believe in global warming... OMG!

Re: POOL PARTY! --Presented by The Esoteric Fr13nds for Gaia (EFG).
It's cool now, was some rain.

I have a problem with normalcy bias that I'm hoping Merit can help me with.

I keep assuming everyone's a nerd with internet access. That everyone wants a computer to access Wikipedia or journals of publications and games on internet shops like Steam.

I keep assuming everyone knows basic things like setting relative secure passwords and simple things like basic networking.

I'm not kidding; I know two doods whose password is just pressing the spacebar... :O One of these doods is smarter than me.

I just asked a question about a password and facepalmed because the answer was obvious.
Then there was another buddy I tried to convince loading Samba onto a Linux box I gave him, who didn't know anything about Windows Network Discovery on his new laptop.
Then there's a third buddy who runs Ubuntu and can't network it using Windows Internet Sharing using a non internet connected router...

Am I the stupid one for projecting onto other people what seems simplistic to everyone on the internet.

And more to the point; how do I get this, "We all are fractals of each other and are each a piece of Jesus crap out of my head?"

I know we're all individuals, but I keep thinking everyone is like me and that's my problem.

I know we all think of ourselves as the gold standard of normal, because people are herd animals and want to belong to the group. But I'm beginning to think I'm dumb.

Yet again I have no idea... :(

I slept funny and have knot right between my shoulder blades. I think I need hot yoga or something.

Just visit a masseuse or get Merit to give you a neck rub. You'll feel better after a good back rub.

I'm thinking about getting a massage from the Chinese masseuse at the local shopping centre, it's been a long time since I had a massage and they cost AUD $40. I tried out a $2 shiatsu chair in a shopping centre and it hurt... :( Those things are awful. :(

I know a dood who did a massage course, but he doesn't massage doods because he feels weird about it. lol

I need to catch up a bit.

Nice! I dont use Ebay as much as I used to but I NEVER lost an auction except for one time when someone out-stealthed me in a last second bid. I was queen of the stealth bids and I was SO mad. I had never lost. Now I don't even remember what I was bidding on. LOL

I use Oz Ebay all the time. I just click on the "Buy It Now" button to get refurbished stuff, or new stuff with "Free Postage" so I know the total cost before clicking.

So far the best thing I bought off of Ebay was 2 2TB SCSI hard drives for a little over $100 AUD, followed by 6 2032 batteries for $3! I wonder how people make money off of Ebay?

Wow, the current pope is an idiot. He has the nerve to denounce the greed of rich people from his gilded palace wearing a robe covered in jewels surrounded by priceless art at the Vatican, arguably one of the wealthiest (and bloodiest) organizations in history. Yeah, okay there. *epic eye roll*
