I doubt we will ever know the names of the American and Canadian researchers who found the virus mentioned in the screenshots but whoever they are, they are heroes. My personal theory (based on my own personal speculation) is that when they stumbled upon this inactive thing inside of the ppl they tested, they informed the IC (or were already working in the IC as good guy mad scientists) and the bad guys figured out they had been caught, released the thing on their own people to cover it up, used a poor little bat as a mildly plausible furry patsy and here we are. I think another state (take a guess who) knew bad actor number 1 was doing this but said nothing. For years. Now we know that we know that they know and bad actor number 2 is pretending to swoop in and save the day, having recently arrived in Italy where oh, suddenly infections are falling. Perhaps bad actor 1 shared cures, vaccines, antidotes with bad actor 2 in the spirit of friendship? Communist frenemies? So, bad actor 2, now having had their oh shit moment seeing what this has done to millions of people, is trying to undo some damage?

Yeah, maybe I have too much time on my hands because I came up with that while doing some cleaning, watching Survivor and baking banana bread after reading those screen shots. I may be way way way off base, I honestly dont know. It is a theory and nothing more. But I take great comfort in the fact that if ppl on the internet can piece that together, there are good guys working in the shadows who knows waaaaaaaaay more. Except those good guys will never be able to tell us and most people reading this will never know their names.
