Re: The Dreamer must awaken
I'm going to play the skeptic a moment here.

If you are one with the 'Open", why would you be drawn to any electronics at all? including a computer? Are you still dependant upon electricity? Do you shop at a store?

I think I might be missing something here. If you can control everything when you are in the 'open', why would you still 'operate' IN the world? Wouldn't you be above it all??

Something just isn't jiving for me with this concept for some reason. Maybe I think the 'open' you are talking about is bigger than it really is????

Thanks.

Please do "play" sceptic!

We do not become one with the Open... the Open is the world, or realm as it were of the Real. It is a name only, to name the nameless, but what else can you do?

I am trying to not be esoteric... you do not have to merge with any mysterious power or force, or unseen unfelt energy.

I am here now, typing these words, because in this world it is my desire. I am not desireless as I have said, I am as real as you are, in this dream. A normal person.

Of course I shop, I love electricity, it is the peak accomplishment of our society and should be shared freely with all and generated in a clean way. You see I hold opinions and have thoughts.

The trouble is many people have perpetuated the Guru mentality throughout history for their own petty gain. I seek not fame, nor fortune... I post this for no other reason than to trigger certain things within certain people, who for one reason or other, find themselves here too.

At this time there are many such as me. Others may be encountering them when they catch a taxi, and the driver says something strange... or they find a note scrawled on the back of piece of paper that catches on their trousers as they walk in the park. Some may see a movie and the movie maker may have been a messenger.

There is a mass awakening. I am here doing my small bit. I do not ask, nor care if you believe me, or not. You have the words, and if you are one who can awaken, the process is begun. No power in heaven or earth can stop this.

The word control seems to come up alot, but I think you will find I have never mentioned controlling the dream, except to say you cannot, and don't try.

You are fixated on the Open, I urge you to seek the Dreamer, who is you, and wake up. Then you will experience for yourself what IT IS. That is all. The rest is irrelevant.

Aeon, this thread is touching a chord with me. I have had "waking visions" which I at first assumed to be psychic premonitions of things to come. However, one involved a man I loved. The visions showed us together. Real life did not transpire that way. How could what you are trying to tell us be applied to this situation?

Yeah I understand the free will thing. But my question is more related to the fact that I projected my own waking visions. Was I in the "open" then. Or was I just acting out someone else's dream. This is confusing.

Re: The Dreamer must awaken
Could you describe your moment?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 178822

Ultimately no. But I can point pointers at it. I was on a very magical island in the Pacific Northwest (that I yearly go to to do a gig.) I met a woman who was a devoted enquirer into the teachings of Ramana Maharshi. We were sitting, chitchatting, when out of the blue she said to me,

"...don't you realize you're already awake?"

The shock of the nonsequitur jolted my consciousness into seeing what was actually reality. For whatever the reason, I woke up in that moment. I began to sob tears of gratitude. My experience was so ordinary in ways, and yet, so beyond description. I can point to it like this...

...it was the experience, at first, that this woman was Me talking to Me. And then, as I looked around myself, I saw that everything was Me talking to me. Needless to say, I followed her around for the rest of my stay there, wanting to go deeper into this "experience." I put "experience" in quotes because that word suggests something that is time-dependent. In my heart-of-hearts I know that this is always going on, all the time. It's a matter of 'turning to it.'

When this sort of thing happens you gain a glimpse of the Open, though not necessarily the Awakened Dreamer.

Please stop trying to re-live this moment. It is evasive because you are using your mind to re-imagine a FELT EXPERIENCE.

Each time is new, and just as profound. Leave the mind and your memory of this behind, drop it now. Take your awareness to your heart and step behind to the infinity that lies there.

The door is ajar for you, the Open beckons. Cross over and become aware of the FEELING of BEING your true self, who dreams many dreams, and must now awaken.

You are the WE I speak of, you and others, many others here and elsewhere. We are ONE consciousness, many expressions.

This is a confirmation for me. Thank you for taking the time to start this thread. The feeling has opened me up, once again.

Re: The Dreamer must awaken
Aeon, I am just becoming aware of the awakening of which you write. I believe the following is an example of one who has awoken from the dream. I hope this is not too long.

From the preface of Power vs. Force, David Hawkins

The Presence is silent and conveys a state of peace. It’s infinitely gentle yet like a rock. With it, all fear disappears, and spiritual joy occurs on a quiet level of inexplicable ecstasy. Because the experience of time stops, there’s no apprehension, regret, pain, or anticipations; the source of joy is unending and ever-present. With no beginning or ending, there can be no loss, grief, or desire—and nothing needs to be done, for everything is already perfect and complete…..When the mind grows silent, the thought I am also disappears, and Pure Awareness shines forth to illuminate what one is, was, and always will be, beyond all worlds and universes—infinite and beyond time.

People wonder, How does one reach this state of awareness?....One has to be compassionate toward everything, including one’s own self and thoughts. Next came a willingness to hold desires in abeyance and surrender personal will at every moment. As each thought, feeling, longing, or deed was surrendered to God, the mind became increasing silent. At first I turned over entire stories and paragraphs in my mind, then ideas and concepts. As one lets go of the desire to own these thoughts, they no longer reach such elaboration, and begin to fragment while only half-formed. Finally, it was possible to turn over the energy behind thought itself, before it even became thought.

The task of constant and unrelenting fixity of focus—allowing not even a moment of distradction from meditation—continued while doing ordinary activities. At first, this seemed very difficult, but as time went on, it became habitual, automatic, and effortless.…..

Suddenly, without warning, a shift in awareness occurred, and the Presence was there, unmistakable, all-encompassing. There were a few moments of apprehension as the self died, and then the absoluteness of the Presence inspired a flash of awe……The profound shock entailed is cushioned by the Love of the Presence. Without the support and protection of that Love, one would be annihilated.

A moment of terror followed as the ego clung to its existence, fearing it would become nothingness. Instead, as it died, it was replaced by the Self as Everthing-ness, the All in which everything is know and obvious in its perfect expression of its own essence. With nonlocality came the awareness that one is all that ever was or can be. One is total and complete, beyond all identities, gender or even humanness itself. One need never again fear suffering and death.

…But, in fact, in this final apocalypse of the self, the dissolution of the sole remaining duality—that of existence and non-existence, identity itself—dissolves in universal divinity, and no individual consciousness is left to choose, The last step, then, is taken by God alone.

Re: The Dreamer must awaken
Reading this thread yesterday got me thinking about how backing out of a dream works for me. It appears that I was successful in backing out of the dream I was embedded in back in 2003.

I realized that the many things I was involved in at the time had nothing to do with what I really wanted to do with my life or who I truly am. So I started "listening" deep inside and letting all the involvements drop away. To use a physical metaphor, the inner seeking did feel like dropping down and back.

But, to get myself out of the city I was living in, I replaced that dream with another one that took a few years to manifest.

Alas, it is also a dream, which I am now embedded in. Time to dissolve this one too.

I am the dreamer.

Re: The Dreamer must awaken
are you talking about lucid dreaming? or some zionist crap?

I have died many times in a dream only to find myself in another one. I have also died in waking life only to have it turn into a dream.

did you know that when you die physically, your brain will stay active for at least 5 minutes. now have you ever noticed how a dream can be hours long while in real-time only a few seconds have passed? now imagine what an active brain would do being by itself for 5 minutes.. you could live a lifetime in a dream believing it is reality. Heck, you could be dead and dreaming right now! How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

Re: The Dreamer must awaken
Looks like we go from one dream to the next until we awaken. Maybe we can even go from one dream to the next after we awaken, if that's what we want to do. Before enlightenment, chop wood & carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood & carry water.

I'm going back through those inner motions that started in 2003. Not this, not that. Then who and what am I, and what does this inner being intend to do here?

Feel like I'm lots closer to the true self, but MUST WAKE UP NOW.

Re: The Dreamer must awaken
Another analogy is one we see in nature. If the creatures on any level get caught up in their own little world and forget to look outside it to a higher level, they endanger themselves and miss out on participating in the greater reality.

Or what if you were something tiny that got into a physical body by stealth and which then wanted to get out. You would allow the body to notice that you were there. The body would push you near the surface and swell up in a ring around you, isolating you from the rest of the body. It would sacrifice the surrounding cells to allow you to exit the body.

Aeon what you are discribing as "Open" for all is meditation "the dreamer must awaken"...The process for the "sleeper must waken" was a DNA change for the One...

Lifting the veil to see you are more than you realize is simple....

You need a candle, mirror, dark room..

stare are the candle until you see your souls aura(as long as it takes)...

focus all your attention on your heart beating...

you can feel the emotion of love raising your vibration
and can interact with your real soulself...

once you find this center of yourself you will know who you really are...the dreamer will awaken....

eyes to see....ears to hear....

On several occasions was I able to experience my outer reality as being within, viewed from a higher perspective.I suppose by fully accepting our small reality,a higher one may enfold, perceptable through increasing events of synchronicity, significant dreams and déja-vu awareness.

Alchemical transformation of horizontal reality is best accomplished through heart oriënted prayers an meditation imo.

Alchemical transformation is using the heart to raise your
soulself vibration...once you understand how the emotion of
Love and the heart interact within your body to raise your soulselfs vibration your penial will become active...you will feel the flow of energy entering and exiting this gland...invision the energy as white light...raising and using the flow of energy is the first steps to manifesting your reality to what you want...

medition focus/prayer/within yourself
grounding the energy/technique
projection of energy/without yourself is thought manifestation
forgive yourself/clear mental files of old events/give focus to the now/loss of ego to distract you from your disires/no mental wandering of thought...
