Psalm 16:9-10 speaks about Jesus? Paul and Peter caught lying
Psa 16:9  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Psa 16:10  For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Act 2:27  Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Act 2:28  Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Act 2:29  Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Act 2:30  Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Act 2:31  He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Act 13:35  Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Act 13:36  For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
Act 13:37  But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Analysis: The hebrew word "therefore" concludes verses 1-8 and in that conclusion the psalmist exalts the Lord by putting his trust in him. (Psa 16:8  I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.)

The psalmist is talking about another person in this psalm? No. Because he particularizes "his own person" using the following words in verse 9: "my heart", "my glory", "my flesh".

The word "for" in verse 10 is a explanatory conjunction, ie, his confidence in the Lord was so great that even being in the Sheol, the Lord would not abandon him, he would not left him in the power of Sheol but would remain with him.

The same characteristic structure is found in verse 10 with the following words "my soul", "thine holy one (saint)". Nothing in this verse specially refers to Jesus.

Another point to be analysed is the word shachath (the christian bible translates as "corruption" and christians say it is about a deteriorated body) which is not abstract to give a sense of "corruption", no. The word is concrete with the meaning of "pit" being synonymous of Sheol, usually understood as another proper name of Sheol like a "well" or "cave" under the earth; but the use favors the opinion that it is a well in the Sheol, as a deeper place of Sheol being also synonymous of Abadon, the dungeon of Sheol.

What the psalmist means with that? He says that he will see the Sheol, but will not be abandoned there; he won't see the dungeon of Sheol, the place of the wicked. The psalmist has hope, expectation and trust of the presence and the grace of God after his death.

1 Corinthians 15:42
“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:”

King James Version (KJV)
1 Corinthians 15:50 King James Version (KJV)

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Romans 8:21 King James Version (KJV)

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Re: Psalm 16:9-10 speaks about Jesus? Paul and Peter caught lying
Christ did not go to hell.

Paul nor Peter lied.

The people you should be calling liars are Catholics who came up with the partial lie you are trying to debunk.

Christ did die the first time, but he did not see corruption, but was raised back to life and former power. He did see the pit, the sepulchre.

Nor was David speaking of seeing hell or sheol or whatever your THEORY is because Christ was the one who created the pit and the lake of fire in the first place. He was God before he decided to be a man. Period. Moreever he prophesied of an event where a man speaks to Abraham from the lake of fire and Abraham tells him a tiny bit about the function of the lake and the space in between the third heaven and the lake.

So the word "see" is simply misunderstood by most English speakers because of disobedience.

The Catholics are the liars you seek to chide. Not the apostles. Moreover I guarantee Paul and Peter were more wise than you currently are today.

Also let us not pretend that "Hebrew" is not a foolish language just like all other languages with which God confused the people of Babel with. It is the same foolishness and is not to be trusted, but proven through obedience and wise process like all other things.

Moreover a very large portion of old prophecy is about Christ.

Re: Psalm 16:9-10 speaks about Jesus? Paul and Peter caught lying
They are liars and the wise can see a few flaws in Paul and Peter wrought in the Vatican instead of God.

Take one for instance on sheep.. Peter said he had gathered the sheep but the sheep is still scattereth abroad today..

.. do you get it?.

"Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them." - Jesus in Matthew 13:9-17

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." - Jesus in Matthew 6:24

Evil and corrupt trees bearing evil and corrupts fruits are the Vatican evil deeds brought in from via Assyrian since Nebuchhadnezzar in his ugly throne.

Ye cannot serve God and wealth, ye cannot serve two masters, YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND THE POPE!.

Catholic and it breakaway religions are a fucking tools and they are the reason why CABAL are still here today in the 21st fucking century.

POWER AND GLORY MY FAT ASS!

To be continued..
