indeed. the 7 yrs is now starting. first trumpet will sound in a bit less than 7 months.

when it happens, Christian people will exclaim..'It's just like it was described in the bible!' It's apocalyptic!

everyone, including those to be 'raptured' will live till the time when the mark is introduced. Very shortly afterwards, comes the rapture for those that have refused it.

everyone has to make that choice. 'security from the govt or freedom under faith'. Its basically a decision made based on whether you think you are mortal, or immortal. Whether you are alive in the spirit, or there is no God. Choose the mark, and you think you will save your body...because you think you ARE a body. Choose to walk away, and you will take a high risk of bodily death.

It will be a very great 'risk' to not take it because the country will be in starvation. And...the mark will be something unexpected so those not paying attention, will not recognize it as such.

What an incredible coincidence I was due to just this minute go to bed but checking on GLP I come accross your thread so I am compelled to write in response because I too have had a dream/vision with loads of metaphor symbolism and very vivid message.
my dream:(incidently I'm almost 90% in fact more I know what the is)I am stood in a house (present day)looking out at the landscape in those strange twighlight hours that dreams tend to do.Suddenly I am aware of a commotion outside people rushing,bustling,grave faces and this enormous horn like a Viking 'call to arms' (it later transpires as I google my description desperate for accuracy it is almost certainly, well im pretty confident this is the 'Shofar').It sounds odd butdreams are odd,that I see in the landscape a 'walled' town but yes its 2016 or whatever present meant in my dream.
The Shofar blast is huge like unlike the Earth trumpets in the sky that have been uploaded to YT.Next I had this awful over bearing feeling of 'THIS IS IT',(almost like the reality of what was happenning had taken people by surprise in a shocking way).Somehow everybody inately knew to gather/assemble(it was like an inner calling that every human knew what to do and where to go.)I too left the house with my wife and we hurriedly walked through the streets and blended in with the flow of people like a crowd trying to get to a large sport stadium.When I got there I couldnt see over the crowd that was immense all stood intently listenning to or just watching a central figure then my dream coelesced into the usual stuff you usually forget.The interesting point to this is i googled in a rough descriptor and the abiding theme seemed to be: .......the Shofar final call Rosh Hashanah,or the the final Shofar of Yom Kippur (that i read was "it is sealed,judgment has been passed)feast of trumpets in the Christian perspective.I have to say IT WAS "P R O F O U N D",I have been reading so much about what I dreamed but Im afraid i got lost in the information overload that is Google.If anybody with greater knowledge is able to help on this I defer to your greater knowledge and it would be warmly appreciated Thanks

What I think of these kind of dreams that come to those seeking eternal truth, wisdom and the blessed coming of our LORD Jesus Christ is that GOD is allowing his people to see the extreme nearness of his CALLING a signal like you say that the Shofar/Trumpet is about to sound.. Be ready.....As you see many people in the dream you had, so have I..Some that were ready and many that were not.....As GOD has given us a Warning in a dream or vision..I believe he still wants US to send out that warning to other's until his FINAL CALL is sent and the unsaved are no longer able to hear or see....

By the way i forgot something,(Thanks for a quick response)when i went outside this is weird in light of what I have JUST THIS MINUTE READ....I went outside my house with my wife and was a bit freaked out by these strange air currents that were visible,not fog but sort of like the way the smoke moves in thr film ' The Passion of the Christ'when God moves in the Holy incence in the scene were God speaks to Zacharias,well it was just like that (as I described to my wife "living wind").Lo and behold OP this.........Zechariah 9:14

What makes me laugh about the rapture, is that it has happened already.

Just in Heaven instead of Earth, where all the fallen angels were cast out to Earth, and the 2/3 of Angels remaining in heaven live in peace.

OP, I don't know what in the dream indicates the rapture. Can you explain what about it is saying about the rapture?

There is no pre-trib rapture.

With all due respect, the antichrist hasn't been revealed yet. We just elected a president who has promised to protect religious rights, so I'm not looking for that decision about taking the mark to happen that soon. So until we have a clear idea of who Antichrist is, I guess I think that the Great Tribulation will not be imminent.

Paul clearly said in 2nd Thessalonians that we will not be raptured until the Man of Lawlessness is revealed.

Now, Obama has a SS nickname of Renegade, right? Doesn't that mean "lawless one"? He also fits some of the criteria for the antichrist. However, no one likes him that much anymore and everyone knows that he lies. So I don't think it is him.

Satan nor any fallen angels can come through a human being to be both Natural and Supernatural.. They can inhabit a body that is unsealed but they cannot become a Supernatural human being....Just a person possessed by an evil entity.
