the transuranium elements above 110 were predicted to be the 'island of stability' this was in the early 90's taught to me by 'establishment' nuclear chemistry professors (we had edward teller guest lecture at one of my courses)..

i haven't fully followed the bob lazar story but some of his stuff checks out.

i never went full on into the nuclear chemistry program as an undergraduate and moved towards advance organic and inorganic materials science type of chemistry.

it certainly isn't unbelievable stuff as i know some who met him and he was a big hot rod desert racing guy and i know some gearheads who met him.
