True story:
When we first met, he was 3 and I was 6. During the first 5 minutes of our meeting, he threw sand in my eyes and I cried until his dad comforted me, telling me that he didn't mean to, he was just so excited to have someone to play with. I am an only child too and I totally understood.
We were neighbors and the very best of friends for another 10 years until his parents divorced and he moved away.
We reconnected 3 years ago. He was 40 and I was 43. He is the love I've always known, the best friend I always longed for and we plan to marry next year.
