Having nightmares daily, anyone else?
I have had nightmares, the past four nights in a row,
something unusual as I rarely get them ...

and they are progressively becoming more intense.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

They are intensifying yesterday's was a situation that was hopeless no matter what I did I woke up realized it was a dream, prayed went back to sleep again in the nightmare, woke up repeated cycle.

Something last night only it was more intense I woke up 2 or three times,
after praying falling into the same nightmare again,

... interested to see what happens tonight.

doom

I am certain it's spiritual attack,
lots o crazy in the world lately and
it's not getting better.

I dream I'm travel on a carpet that is ablaze in purple fire. Everything I touch burns to a crisp. There's a figure on the front edge looking forward. I try to get its attention, but it refuses to notice or look back at me.

OP, same boat here. Have been running for my life the last 2 nights.

First night was I was part of a massive manhunt and knew that I just had to stay hidden long enough for a "federal agency?" to come get me. All state, county, local were chasing me.

Second one last night. Was on phone for some kind of Customer Service, standing in gridlock freeway traffic when I witnessed a huge landslide AND because of stopped traffic, some unknown pursuers were able to chase me on foot...through woods, fields, into city through buildings, stairwells, etc.

Relative to most it's average,
I am at peace in general in my soul and the world around me.

I do feel an urgency with the direction this wold is going and spend time in prayer, but have most of my life. I have never had problems sleeping and few nightmares maybe 1 every couple of years, some disturbing dreams such as a body part rotting ( these are not nightmares ) but this week it's been 2 very disturbing dreams bordering nightmares and two full blown nightmares among the most intense I have ever had, where I couldn't escape.

Night one -

the police come and kill a turtle that was our family pet in front of me after our (turtle and I) morning swim, they hook up a tube to it and suck out its insides.

Night two -

a wraith I am fighting bites off my testicle ... wut ???

Night three -

I can not escape pursuers chasing me in a city,
no matter what I did, I woke up prayed thought how to escape went back into dream could not do it, woke again, repeated finally got away.

Night four -

creepy hotel I am in a room trying to leave, before the monsters that are staying in room return, I have several tasks to complete, whatever I do I get further behind and there are people waiting for me. I woke up several times falling asleep again in the nightmare. I did not get out in time had to face the monsters, barely escaping in the end.

Tonight -

Probably to do with your peaceful life. Some other beings dont like that so they target you.

That's crazy... I have rarely had these kind of dreams,

to have a series of them is unnerving, the word part is that
sometimes I can get back into a dream if I want to about 10%
of the time but almost always not return if I do not want to 95%
of the time based. In the past 3 nights I would renter the same dream several times after waking even when I consciously thought of something else breaking up the patten when awake, then consistently returned to the dream upon hitting R.E.M.

Could be, that's why I think it's spiritual,
I can't find any other reason for it and I am working on
improving myself more than I ever have.

It will be my 44th birthday soon,
for some reason I think it is s significant one.

Re: Having nightmares daily, anyone else?
I had two nights of terrible nightmares just a couple nights ago. One was a social anxiety dream, which is common. The next night was a whole new type of nightmare though. It was unusually intense as well. Been kinda afraid to sleep lately as a result... but last night things seemed ok. I get maybe a mild nightmare once a month, so to have two nights in a row of super intense nightmares, and for no reason too, nothing happened in my life... something is going on, I feel.

Me. I keep dreaming I'm stuck on this planet with these ape-like creatures that have lost all of their fur. They are not as civilized as most apes but they can communicate through primitive verbal calls. Mostly all the do is eat, screw, and fight. Anything else they do is intended to support those activities.

They also use computers and have the internet.

Can't think of anything,

Drinking almost no alcohol,
little caffeine,
no drugs,
smoked 2 cigarettes this week,
similar diet,

similar routine,
standard anxiety level,
avoiding negative energy from questionable movies
or literature more so than usual.

I am sort of exited to see what happens tonight.

Re: Having nightmares daily, anyone else?
I wasn't going to post anything but after reading this thread about nightmares lately, I thought...

maybe THERE IS SOMETHING HAPPENING HERE- hf

I too have been having ongoing nightmares. Only mine are about Wolves and Werewolves.

Yes, this is a new one for me as well. I usually fall from high places or am facing some kind of fear of mine, but these lately are really, really terrifying and new!

So right at 5:44 I woke up this morning (30th) to a dream so bad, I laid in bed staring at the ceiling...scared to death

-------------------------------------
:Dream (I'll try to make it quick) WOLVES Idol1

So I'm in my home and these little children around 9 or so come in from the garage and want to rob me.

But they only want what I treasure the most, like things our family has passed down through generations. I start crying and ask why, take anything else you want.

They wont.
I noticed they were unarmed. I than reached for the phone and dialed 911 meanwhile I shut walls around us in my dream as if trapping them in.
That pissed them off. They started saying, "you have done it now. You will deal with him"

I ask..."you work for someone else? Where is this person?"

The walls disappeared and now I'm in a dark alley behind the house.

This TALL black man with blood shot eyes and a pointed goat tee, wearing a black hoodie comes walking towards me holding a stick of some kind. He scared me.

He just walked up and stared right into my eyes and said something about judgement.

He moved to the side and as he did...

a HUGE WOLF/WEREWOLF comes slowly walking straight towards me the size of this thing was like the polar bears on Narnia. He was foaming at the mouth, growling so terrifying I was frozen. I could not move. I just stood there watching.

The wolf comes and stands next to my side and places his mouth right on my waistline and continues to growl and foam as if ready to bite me anytime given the signal.

And if THAT WAS NOT BAD ENOUGH!

I hear more growling and it's getting closer.
I look out and see around 13 of these werewolves only half the size of this one standing next to me as if he is the KING and these are walking on there back legs like a human with there hands out as if threatening me to fight them. That was the feeling I got from them with the way they walked towards me.

I couldn't move and I remember not breathing hardly because I was so scared to move at all that the KING one might rip me apart.

So things were said, but I don't remember anything, only that I finally took a deep breath and when I did that my stomach and body moved, yet I noticed the KING wolf never budged. He remained the exact same and at that point I realized I was dreaming and woke myself up.

Who knows where this was leading or might have happened.

But this so real and so scary. I didn't want to go back to sleep after that.
