Quoting: d3pl0rabl3 z3r0thr3 Good suggestion, but it isnt real blood. I will not die in the night but in the light Of the sun with the ashes of this world in my lungs |

Quoting: Anselm We tried club soda, peroxide, carpet cleaner, but nothing seems to work. Anybody know of anything that might work? Thanks in advance. Same as what you used, but they use salt as a last resort. [link to www.carraracompanies.com] Last Edited by nutmeg on 01/03/2017 03:19 AM |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72815454 last resort try diluted bleach (idk the ratio) or find an area rug you like and put that over the stain. you may want to call a professional carpet cleaner before trying bleach. Yeah lots with no luck. Considering trying a rug doctor. Will dilute some bleach first though. Thanks for the advice. You want to take a Carpet Knife or Box-Cutter (some folks call it a Sling Blade, I call it a Kaiser Blade) and cut about a foot or more all the way around the stain. Then you gotta pull that shit up and get rid of it. (Don't burn it because it will stink!) I myself and a big fan of chemical disincorporation. You can made just about any problem go away with chemical disincorporation, especially the cause of the stain. (wink wink, nudge nudge) Then you want to hit the uncovered floor with bleach. Hard and heavy. And just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is. An an ultra violet or black light will reveal any and all evid.... I mean unnoticed stains, and more importantly, destroy any DNA linking the... cause of the stain to that particular stain. Follow me? Then you should be good. Have your place recarpeted and next times, TCOB in the woods... the desert.... or a least the garage. Remember: Keeping your wits about you and thoroughness are the key to successful "stain removal"... "Moral of the story is I chose a half measure when I should have gone all the way. I'll never make that mistake again. ==== ESTJ-a (Executive) 93% Extroverted, 82% Observant, 83% Thinking, 82% Judging,72% Assertive ==== |

H2O2 might bleach the carpet. They make protein desolvers that might work. What kind of simpletons do you party with? Communism is for LOSERS Communism is SLAVERY Fuck Joe Biden |

[link to www.amazon.com (secure)] Apply a mixture of Dawn and water, not too much of the Dawn, just lightly soapy. Lay a clean towel over the stain, and steam over it repeatedly, until the stain has lifted onto the towel, or other absorbent material - can even use thick paper towels, like Viva or Bounty, etc., in layers. I have removed the most impossible stains this way. Just beware of fading carpet by not overdoing it. Use distilled water only in the steamer. Empty out the steamer when not in use, don't leave water sitting in it - remove the hose and let the unit dry, and hang the hose to drip dry, to keep it clean and free of mildew, etc. |
