I'm with you OP. Love my furry buddies. They just don't live long enough. My heart breaks when I think about the ones that have come and gone.

I've never owned (shared my life with...) a dog yet, that if they didn't like someone, there was a very good reason. They have an Extra Sense that allows them to see into a human's soul, and see what's there.

None of my dogs have ever been aggressive towards strangers, I simply won't allow that to be, but on occasion they have let me know when they don't like someone.

I've learned to let them lead the way in this matter, and none of them have ever been wrong.

Within time, the true colors of these people have come through, and the "Real Them" comes out.

When you find your dog in alert mode, let them take the lead because something's up.

When my dogs have warmed up to someone new extremely quick, I know this person has a good soul and spirit.

It's been my experience that those who hate dogs are the ones who haven't earned a dogs love. If you can't earn a dogs love then you must be a waste of space.
