As far as I know, shit like that happens every day, doesn't it? You never hear a word about it.

When I lived in Minneapolis, there were serial rapists at large, there was never any kind of public outrage of any kind, and it was all black on white. I had a number of close calls myself.

And that's not to mention the constant, constant harassment on the street, which there is no place to discuss, but harassment and threats by black guys on the street for decades gave me a complex about looking good that was really hard to shake. I always felt like I was walking around with a big target on, I still do. I'll always be "the white girl".
