Vote fraud Investigation - glad it's finally happening! A few things we all need to know as the investigation proceeds...
Count on the MSM and their sycophants to sow as much confusion as possible about the recent news of an investigation into vote fraud in the US.

While this current action should have NO effect on past contests (as much as I'd like to see Hillery, the DNC and most of CNN management facing charges), the importance of being certain that ALL future elections for Federal, State and Local elections are legitimate cannot be overstated.

I encourage all GLPers to make use of these resources to arm ourselves for the upcoming shitfirestorm from those who want to see the US elections continue to be ripe for fraud and illegal voting.

There are rules for how elections are held and how votes are to be tallied that differ from state to state but directly relating to illegal voting, the Felon Vote Fraud page on Ballotpedia illuminates just one area ripe for reducing the possibility of corruption.

The penalties for violations of voting laws also need to be looked into. These laws determine what the criminals will face when they are identified. Hope to see some familiar national figures in that list.

I found the following to be very interesting:

"Any person voting more than once shall be held criminally liable for illegal voting. A person voting without possessing proper qualifications to vote and willfully voting is guilty of illegal voting. A statute proscribing applying for and casting fraudulent absentee ballots in the names of voters without the voters’ knowledge and consent does not require that the information be given without the voter’s permission. Further, statutes do not allow proxy voting and therefore a voter cannot legally authorize or direct another to vote in place of him/her.

Statutes render election officers criminally liable for violations or omissions of their duties under election laws. Election officers may be criminally liable for receiving votes of persons unqualified to vote, willfully rejecting qualified electors’ votes, altering or stealing ballots or other necessary documents, stuffing the ballot box, falsifying the election returns, and committing fraud. A mere mistake without a willful neglect of the duty does not impose criminal liability on election officers."

From a group working to eliminate non-citizens from voting and tainting our elections at all levels, in obvious violation of statue law in all 50 states (with very limited exceptions) is the following:

Noncitizen Voting Is Illegal

"Elections in the United States are governed by a complicated mix of federal, state, and municipal election laws. As a rule, noncitizens are prohibited from voting and are subject to criminal penalties if they do.

State Elections

"With very limited exceptions, noncitizen voting is illegal under the relevant statutes of all fifty states. However, laws requiring voting registrants and voters to establish proof of citizenship have been repeatedly challenged in recent years. The most frequent objections to these reasonable measures are that voter fraud is a “myth” and that voter ID requirements will unreasonably interfere with the right to vote. However, these claims seem patently unreasonable given that there have been numerous reports of unlawful voting by aliens but no virtually no reports of voters being disenfranchised.

"Marking a disturbing new trend, several municipalities in Maryland have begun allowing noncitizens to vote in town elections; and the City of Chicago now allows noncitizen voting in school advisory council elections. To date, no state has extended noncitizen voting beyond municipal elections. This, however, remains a major area of concern. State efforts to extend the franchise to noncitizens undermine the rule of law; blur the distinctions between citizens and noncitizens; and render U.S. elections susceptible to both fraud and foreign influence.

I've been a yuuuuge fan of making Voter ID laws uniform across the nation as a way to stop the problems that these issues have brought to every modern election cycle.

The federal elections in the 2000 cycle were so close that if there were even 1% criminality in FLA - not to say there was - this Nation's history would be quite different.
