Friend just texted me saying he holds me responsible for Trumps actions

I've lost a long time friend too of 10 years. He chose to throw away our friendship over political differences. Now I am used to losing friends every 5-10 years and making new ones so I am not quite as bummed about it. I just remember we helped each other at the time, took each other to where we are in life, and that's it. There is no more use for our friendship to continue if he wants to throw it away now. I will always remember the bad times we helped each other through but it's time to look towards the future once again.

Thats a bit harsh, sorry to say it dude, if hes serious and all pissed off at you over politics, hes not much of a friend. Just say to him that you'l get along fine if ya leave politics out of the friendship, if he blows up again, fuck him!, not worth the stress.
