So yep mandela effect And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us; The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him; His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure, One little word shall fell him |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76871945 United States 08/25/2018 02:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There was never a cornucopia in the fruit of the loom logo, I am absolutely certain of it, just the fruit.I remember seeing this logo all of my childhood and I remember what I saw because I have always paid attention to details. Your brain has a tendency to fill in blanks to make it what you expect to see in your mind (this is why if you ask ten eye witnesses to the same event what they saw their versions will all differ, memories are not accurate at all) Most people have seen pictures of cornucopias with different fruits contained in them that look just like the different fruit on the underwear logo. Look up "cornucopia" in an image search, that's what it is, a horn shaped basket of fruit. SO what is happening exactly like the Berenstain bears is your mind is filling in a blank with that you expect it to be instead of what is. Every other time you saw a pile of different fruit like that a cornucopia was depicted, at least almost all the time.. "Stein" is very common suffix to a tribal name, but how many people's name has "stain" at the end of it? Not a whole lot, probably a made up name or pseudonym. It was always Berenstain and I know this because I always thought it was a humorous name considering the subject was about child/bears, and perhaps that was the intent, to be humorous with a pseudonym or perhaps the authors name itself inspired the book series. |

So yep mandela effect Quoting: dawning light And 80% or more of what he is sure he remembers accurately never happened like he remembers. Everyone has their own perception of their own reality with varying degrees of commonality with others. We all remember the fruit because it was there. Some of us remember the cornucopia because a cornucopia goes along with a pile of random fruit. Intelligence is actually a measure of how accurate the memory is, this is why dumb people flock to these "alternate reality" threads. If we have entered a parallel universe the other one never existed from our perspective, relatively speaking. |

Maybe FOTL is going along with the mandella effect theory and "saying" their logo never had a cornucopia as some kind of viral marketing? It certainly has people talking about Fruit of the Loom again... A decent marketing campaign imo. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69276096 The logo you see is from a knock off company called "Fruit of the Loin". Most people never noticed the differences in the names. No, I remember vividly as a kid the Fruit of the Loom cornucopia commercials with people dressed as fruit wearing the underwear and that was the logo! I am only 39 years old, and the memory is very clear. I watched a lot of tv back then. lol Richard Simmons was in the Fruit of the loom commercial , before he lost all of his weight. somebody call Richard. (This was de-bunked as a Mandella effect.) During the early 1970s, the FDA filed suit against Kelloggs stating that Fruit Loops contained no fruit, and could not be labeled as such. However they could add a small amount of fruit powder and keep the name. Rather than do that, Kelloggs just changed the spelling in the mid 1970s. :doom360: |

Yet they would not give ear. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands. You gave your good Spirit to instruct them and did not withhold your manna from their mouth and gave them water for their thirst. Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against you and cast your law behind their back and killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you, and they committed great blasphemies.
