CNN, IMDB & other MAJOR websites are CLOSING their comment sections. This is insane!

They can't continue their charade that all of America is 'with' the liberal agenda, unless they close down the true opinion of Americans.

MSN has closed it's comments sections recently due to all those opposed to trumpf and the scum that support the thing. trumpf will either step down by years end, be impeached, or unfortunately end up dead, either through a heart attack or a bullet.

But for all the hatred trumpf scum supporters like to trot out the media is evil routine, it's trumpf supporters and their ilk that are either stupid, or evil. When trumpf come to the UK he will have so much increased security that has never been seen before because so many people here hate him as well, despite what you supposedly think on glp.

Amazing, the only president with a lower approval rating in living memory and he's only been doing the job for a few weeks.

They cut their comments because the comments do not allow them to control the information. They always do this under the guise of "too much work to police" and "the comments represent a narrow demographic".

Well, maybe when hell freezes over and people start to actually talk to one another instead of instantly getting rude, crass, and belligerent when one doesn't agree with you ... you know, a mature, intelligent discussion ... then perhaps comment sections will re-open. But when nearly every comment thread devolves rapidly into name-calling, swearing, and acting like a child, I can understand this action.

At the same time ... yeah, it could very well be that these sites don't like that people are coping onto the lies, the manipulation, etc.

Or a combination of the above.

I agree, but on certain movie and actors threads, the trolls have driven virtually anyone else off from posting.

I thought CNN got rid of theirs a long time ago? Because I used to troll there sometimes then I noticed one day the comment sections were gone lol.

It will just make sites that allow comments to prosper, which equals increase in revenue.

Why - because truth be told, people want to hear what Joe butt-crack mechanic says as equally as an Ivy league professor. The entertainment in knowledge so to speak.
