Anonymous Coward User ID: 73932246 United States 02/06/2017 02:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nice. A .357 rifle is going to be my next gun purchase. I have yet to fully decide on which of the three primary .357 models I will get, but, I will own one soon. I like the idea of having ammo that compliments both a hand gun and a rifle. Redundancy is good. Agree. And .357 SW revolvers are my favorites, although I mostly run 38 Specials thru them. Think I gave $580 for the Big Boy .357 used but like new in box. That's a very good price. I expect I will pay double that easily. Great job getting one at that price. Hope it does well for you! I hunt and am looking to replace my current rifle with one of these. |

I think the lowest we will see is .06 per round, until the next big panic. Ganders had a Grand Opening in Mesquite, Tx a few years ago and had .03 or .04 priced 22. I got there 20 min. before opening and there were 150+ in line ahead of me to purchase the 300 round limit. I'll NEVER do that again. Anonymous Coward User ID: 71428258 United States 02/06/2017 02:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've still got 500 rd boxes of 22 with the $17.95 sticker still on them for 'just in case'. I still regret seeing a wall filled with that stuff at the local sporting goods store and only picking up one box. Never thought it would get this bad. My poor kids. Hoped to shoot with them more but the 22LR shortage and constant SHTF fear has cheated them out of a funner childhood :( Hope they turn up those 22LR machines and get them back down to those 'olden day' prices. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69555020 Dominican Republic 02/06/2017 03:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a question. Before I left America I had quite a few guns from various sources. One in particular was a quite old 30 caliber semi auto pistol. Story was that my uncle bought it in the 50's - maybe in Mexico or on the street. It was in a bag with some period ammo.About like a .22 long but with the girth of a .30,. I never searched ammo for it because it was unregistered and I didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb if it was something rare that no one ever asked for. Is .30 semi auto current stuff anywhere? Sorry if my firearm vernacular is off - but I've not been around guns or shooting since my move. Any info appreciated. |

I wanted to ensure I could maintain my range times no matter what the future holds politically. After SH, reloading components were scarce and prices up 300-500%. Trump years should be great for stocking up. Last Edited by Hard Eight on 02/06/2017 03:27 PM Texas has yet to learn submission to any oppression, come from what source it may. All black - looked kind of cheaply built, and certainly handled that way. Maybe I need to research more because now I'm thinking it could have been .35,. I wish I had taken a pic or at least remembered the manufacturer's name. If you think of anything else I would love to hear about it. I'll do a search tonight also. Thank you so much for you reply. |
