Current outflow according to DWR '12 CFS'.

That must just be the leakage through the hillside LOL.

If that figure were true, the Feather River flowing through Oroville and points south would be bone dry (and it isn't).

This is interesting long read below. CA has a history of great floods and great droughts, and another great flood is surely in the future. When it comes, Central Valley farming will be wiped out. Enjoy eating nuts and produce while we still can.

LOL. It is only fine because it currently has no water to speak of behind it.

The job is unfinished and over budget. Kiewit kicked ass, but only within the parameters the State allowed.

If the job was done, CA DWR would not have had reason to redact/black out multiple pages of information in the 2019 Oroville Dam Needs Assessment. When the government is hiding information from you in a public document, things are not 'fine'. Common sense 101.

When people people think about agriculture and the California Central Valley, they are mostly thinking about the San Joaquin Valley. The Oroville Dam drainage is limited to the Sacramento Valley, which is the northern part of the Central Valley.

An Oroville flood event would exit the valley via the Sacramento Delta and San Francisco Bay. The majority of the Central Valley south of Sacramento would not be affected by the flooding, only the loss of the irrigation water provided by the California Aqueduct.
