California's Lake Oroville Main Spillway Severely Damaged/Eroded. Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed

Dam outflow has dropped from 5500 to about 3800 CFS.

River releases still about 2800 CFS. Maybe they have stopped watering the rice fields.

Only about 10' to go before the peg we set at 644'

Beyond that, how low will it go?

I THINK THEY'RE GONNA STALL THE FUCK OUT OF IT FROM HERE ON OUT....THEY'LL APPEAL TO THE WATER SOURCES ABOVE...WE NEED THOSE LAKE LEVELS..UH.

The water sources upstream are drops in a bucket, except for Almanor. And I don't think Almanor has a controlled spillway. It's just an overflow, to my knowledge.

DWR can stall the releases from Oroville, but the water is rapidly running out. They do need to provide for river flow up to the hatchery for the salmon. If they can't do that, there's gonna be some 'splainin' to do LOL

Wow. Reservoirs are going dry, but the state's largest users of water are not included in the water use restrictions. That makes sense, if you are a fskng idiot.
