Just wanting to note that the water levels for this day of the year are much higher than the past recent years, with the exception of 2017 of course. Levels on today's date in 2017 were almost 50 feet higher than they are now. No idea how this year's snow pack compares to 2017.

The "solid rock foundation" upon which the spillway is built is just a set of 3 earthquake faults.

Now why have those early pix showing the construction and the faults all disappeared?

New road bypassing the spillway bridge to access the boat ramp. That road now closed due to rising water, so access is again via the spillway bridge. Mandatory CHP inpections of all vehicles using the bridge 'for security purposes'. WTF.
