I remember something about that now. has anything been put out by anybody about the purpose of all that concrete..? why are they putting an apron there? I am not sure which concrete you are referring to. To the left or right of the spillway from the bottom camera view? the concrete being laid as an apron is OBVIOUS on the hillside between the main spillway and the Dam itself... its all been stair stepped and they are dumping concrete on it. AS YOU FACE the image of the lower spillway.. it would be on the riight... There is more on there every working day. [ link to www.parks.ca.gov]
