Well, you said running it hard was 100,000 cfs, which they don't have to do especially if they can get the flow going from the power plant. If they can get that up to what it supposedly can put out , 14000 cfs, then they might only have to use the damaged main spillway just enough to keep up with the inflow. And the snow ... it's not going to all melt within a week or so. It'll more likely take months. Wet snow has a water equivalent somewhere around 5:1, meaning 5" of wet snow melts down to 1" of water or 5' of wet snow melts down to 1' of water. |
