Might be time to hang it up, eh? 74 years old, I don't even want him driving a car.

TWO were engine failures, that is beyond his control.

It is EASY for a GA Pilot to become confused at big airports. Almost ALL of these accidents are the result of an Air Traffic Control FAILURE. However, it is the responsibility of the pilot to recognize when ATC is pushing them beyond what they are able.

It is also unfortunate that people DIE ever year because of it.

Here are just a couple of examples:

74 is still young for some people, but I read that he's had other close calls and crashed a plane when he wasn't 74. Anyhow, I hope he loses his license. He's a liberal. Maybe he's still in meltdown after Hillary lost.

Damned ageist!

Harrison Ford is a fine pilot and it's a miracle he was able to put the last one down dead stick without hurting anyone but himself. No pilot should lose his license for less than truly compelling reasons. Perhaps he needs to pass a check ride, and there will be an FAA investigation regardless. It's really tough to make quick decisions at a busy and unfamiliar airport, especially if there are marginal conditions.

It was a controlled landing after the engine failed on takeoff. That's one of the most difficult situations for any pilot.

It is the most difficult situation other than the plane falling apart but geez...he has more money than god to maintain an aircraft.
