I grew up in Portland. They used to have a mayor named Sam Adams. This particular guy was into boys, at least that was the rumor. The funny t-shirts in Portland read "you don't have to be 18 in Portland to have a Sam Adams". Despite knowing this the people reelected him. It's an evil place. Sort of a wannabe SF.

Portland, OR is a fucking cesspool. More than 51% of it's inhabitants are out-of-state transplants; mostly from California, but other libfucks trickle in from other places as well. Used to be an awesome logger/farmer town full of working class and longshoremen. Now it's a fucking liberal nanny state and disgusting to boot.

It's a liberal shithole not just a hippie shithole. I know some radical liberals who live there and they truly think they've created some kind of superior, progressive, intellectual community, in the usual self-righteous liberal way.

I've heard them literally brag about how they're smarter and more evolved than the rest of Americans, I doubt they even consider themselves American to be honest.

More like a community of rejects from around the country who don't fit in anywhere else.
