At this point, I'm just as giddy. I get to pull the reverse "oops" on her. I figured that she slept with some bad boy and got knocked up. Good thing I was using condoms! Better still that I have a serious mistrust of women who can't think beyond their own uteri.

Pretty elaborate for someone on Craigslist!

As I get older and meet more people, it's amazing to me how many men are duped by women when it comes to their children.

A women I met about 2 years ago has 3 children. She's been married to the same man for 22 years. The oldest child is a girl who is now 24 years old. She looks NOTHING like either the mother or father. Different body type (she's thin and they are both really heavy), totally different hair, different facial structure, just NOTHING similar to either of them. The other 2 children have obvious similarities to both parents.

Just about 6 months ago, a medical issue came up with the eldest daughter. Both parents submitted blood work to pre-qualify in case their blood or marrow was needed.

Long story made short: turns out she wasn't his biological daughter and he was lied to and led to believe it was for 24 years.

Now he still loves her as a daughter, but can you imagine the pain that must cause him.

Moral of the story: always verify

It's a good thing he had his sperm count tested as a precaution, because a vasectomy can reverse. It's a somewhat rare occurrence (about a 30% chance), but it can happen. My husband had a vasectomy roughly 3 years before we started dating. We both wanted a family together & had discussed getting it reversed, but less than a year after marriage I became pregnant with the first of 3 children. There were no accusations of infedility, but I urged him to go back to his doctor to put his mind & that of family members at ease. Sure enough, a tube had reconnected.

It was a blessing in our case, but it's something to keep in mind for you gentlemen who are 100% certain that you don't want children. It might be a good idea to have a sperm count done every now & then.

After the birth of our now 10 month old, I had my tubes tied. If they somehow manage to reverse, we might be a case for the record books! There are a lot of ladies out there looking for a target to take advantage of, so best wishes guys. Better safe than sorry.
