I'd imagine gays will be beaten and robbed and raped by the rougher dregs of society. It won't be pretty. Just look at prisons for an example of what happens and then multiply the ferocity by 100.

in a true post-SHTF scenario, "gay rights", as well as any other right you can think of, will exist but only for as long as those that avail themselves of those rights are willing and able to defend said rights from those that would wish to take them away.

but then again, that is actually true in a pre-SHTF scenario, also, so c'est la vie.

There certainly won't be the 'in your face' homo programming that there is nowadays. They'll be completely back in the closet in a SHTF scenario.

Before I engage in this thought pattern on human civilizations and homosexuality, let me first say that I take no issue with homosexuality in any or all of it's forms. Having said that; most likely homosexuals would be divided up into three groups. Male homosexuals would more often than not just pushed away from society, the greater consensus being that what doesn't affect the group can be allowed as long as it's kept outside the main group. Female homosexuals would be divided up into Gay Couples vs. Gay Singles. Let's delve deeper, as a society women are capable of causing far more chaos than men can through their actions when it comes to sex and relationships; before you get mad allow me to explain with an example. Male 1: is the groups medical expert and is in a relationship with Female 1. One day Female 2 shows up and is allowed to join the group. Unbeknownst to the group Female 2 is homosexual and is interested in Female 1. Through her actions, Female 2 begins a secret relationship with Female 1 that comes to the light of the group. Male 1 is imperative to the group but if he finds out, this information could have dire consequences on the group. But is Female 2 really just gonna put her sexuality in the closet for the greater consensus of the group. Will Female 1 really just stop messing with Female 2. Obviously if Male 1 figures out whats going on, worse case scenario is he chooses to leave the group. The group must come together and decide what is better for the survival of the group; Allow the possibility that Male 1 leaves and Female 2 can take over as medical practitioner, Kill Female 2 and tell Female 1 that Female 2 left and hasn't been seen since, or remain quiet and watch the SAFETY AND SECURITY the group has probably worked very hard to achieve go down the drain and into the fan with all the other shit. True Statement: no group allows an outsider/non-normative group member disrupt the peace and stability of the whole. Especially once kids are involved.

Let me be clear... There is no such thing as 'gay rights'.

For a short time, before the implosion, this group was used as pawns to corrupt the political and social sphere. But in truth, there are mo gay rights. Nature itself does not even give 'gay rights'. The only right nature gives to gays is the right to spread STDs and die. Nature itself will cull these people out.
