I wouldn't look in the Bible to prove or disprove what it says. It'circular logic.

We can't even say who wrote anything else, but the evidence points to authors that never actually met Jesus, and who got their information from other people. Paul/Saul met Jesus on the way to Damascus and verified by Peter and the rest of the disciples.
