Someone please explain to me the scenario that would bring about Trump's impeachment.

I have scanned threads, watched countless "opinion" videos from both sides...

I haven't seen anything different with Trump than any other political leader who has perhaps stretched statistical truths, or exaggerated numbers, or made political promises.

All of them do it...but never have I heard so many calls for a president to be impeached.


The only difference has been 2 things.

1. Trump accusing former pres of unlawful surveillance
2. "ties to Russia"

Are these the reasons for the call of impeachment? Can they impeach him for an accusation against Obama? is that really enough?

Or is this whole impeach him thing have to do with the Russia thing?

Or is there something else entirely, I'm not aware of?

Today without saying they were invoking their fifth amendment rights, they invoked them by saying "I can't speak about that, it's part of an investigation" to almost everything they were asked.

The republican't party would cease to exist if they did something like that. They would have been irrelevant if they had torpedoed Trump in '16. They may be irrelevant anyway. The republican't party did not win the White House, Trump did. He did it with very little help from them, so he does not feel obligated to bail their worthless asses out. Trump would move to a Constitutionalist party in a heart beat and leave them high and dry. I think they know that, too.

Well two can play that game. If the LEGALLY can somehow remove Trump from office, then I believe every politician irregardless of party, who is on record of being against Trump at some point in the past, should be targetted when it comes to re-election time.

Nixon resigned to avoid impeachment. The House Minority Leader told Nixon he only had like 14 or 15 states voting to keep him in office. He needed 30 something to avoid impeachment.
