In theory Trump can fire Comey, for cause only. But in practice, he has to wait. Because if Comey is fired, his deputy is openly Democrat, Hillary's guy. Plus Dems and RINOS would never confirm Guliany or Christy. Noone else is worthy.

Posibly his only way is to fix Justice first. When Sessions deputy Rod S. is confirmed and takes over Russia investiogation, he asks Session to get sick and resign, hes not a war time consigliore. He already excused himself from being AG by Russia recusal. If hes out of Russia investig. why he bothers to stay as AG. Or hes ok being Pences AG?

So, he gets rid of Sessions, and trys a new AG but he cant get confirm, same as new FBI guy wouldn't...

A mess...Nothing he can do but work hard for 2018 Senate election. If he gets his 8-9 new senators, he will get a pump to drain. If he doesn't he will negotiate his way out with Pence.

Why wouldn't they? As much as I like to see a conservative Justice. It was not congress's job to hijack the seat. It set a really bad precident. And after Benghazi and the email server thing, don't expect democrat's to drop the Russia thing, even when nothing comes of it. What goes around, comes around.
