TROPICAL Cyclone Debbie may yet develop into a category-5 system and score a direct hit on the state’s biggest population center.
Up to 300,000 people from Townsville to the Whitsundays are in the line of the monster storm as it tracks towards the coast with destructive winds possible as early as today.

Disaster experts warn the cyclone, predicted to be a category 5 or even the highest rating of a category 5, looms as a catastrophic event capable of destroying homes, buildings and power line in the 400km-long stretch of coast.

OP, you didn't list the name of the "state" in either your thread title or your summary. Why keep things so vague? Yeah, I know, the details are in the news article that you linked to, but why not clue everyone in prior to them having to click on the news link?

Probley because it's NOT the states biggest population centre , but it sounds much more doomy to say it is , the cyclone is in Queensland by the way , with the biggest population centre being Brisbane

I have two very young grandchildren in the path of this cyclone. At the moment it's possible to be anywhere between a 3 and a 5 category, they don't know for sure.

It's building and they are saying it's perfect conditions for it to build further.

So all you useless complaining tards can go rotate on this

granny from the granny that has no tolerance for morons.
