In the Montana Rockies, in a small village when I was a resident there, an adolescent black bear got buzzed on fermented apples and had a personal "party". He got up in a small tree, swaying and barely hanging on, and watched the people beneath him. Everyone got worried that he'd fall out, so they rescued him and he zig zagged back to his forest. Villagers said that is fairly common.

Here's a site with images of buzzed critters. I'm not into inebriation for humans or animals, but it happens.

It's kind of funny that the bear can't stand up and the moose got into a fix, (at the site posted).

"It (black bear) was in the lawn of Baker Lake Resort. Neither sleeping nor injured, the animal was drunk. It had raided the coolers of nearby campus and taken down various cans of beer. More notably, he was not happy with any ordinary beer but cans of Rainier Beer."
