In a video filmed by the employer, an Ethiopian domestic worker in Kuwait is seen hanging outside a window for her life, pleading for help as her employer records the event. The maid cries for help saying “hold me, hold me” before losing her grip and falling from the seventh-floor.

The maid landed on what appears to be a small building that cushioned her fall. Paramedics rescued the maid and rushed her to hospital where she was found to have suffered nose and ear bleeding along with a broken arm, watch below. [link to clapsnews.com]

"A woman filmed her Ethiopian maid when she was dangling by one hand at a window of the seventh floor. "Hold me," she calls out twice. The lady does not attempt to rescue her. "Oh fool, come back," was all she said in the video. The authorities in Kuwait have launched an investigation.

The maid eventually lost her grip and fell right on the metal roof of a nearby building. Miraculously she was left with only a few broken bones to over, according to local newspaper Alanba. A firefighter helped her through a ladder back onto the ground.

According to various sources was the girl climbed out the window because she wanted to take her own life. Her employer would have stated that they continued filming because she was not charged with murder or manslaughter.

However, a Kuwaiti Foundation for Human Rights says that the mistress had the duty to save her people in need of help is indeed refuse offense. A lawyer already spans a process. The employer would have meanwhile arrested by the Kuwaiti police."
