Imagine the worst place you have ever worked. You know the one-the job where everyone is buttfucking miserable, stabbing each other in the back constantly, starting petty drama and management always rewards the employees with the worst productivity and behavior. Now imagine that place, but a thousand times worse. No, that nightmare workplace in your mind isn't the darkest pit of hell, it's the White House.

First he publicly shit's on the Freedom Caucus. Then he demotes Bannon, the face of the deplorable's.

The sad part is that this may be the only way he gets any of his agenda passed. I don't trust the RINO's to hold up their end of the bargain, however. I hope I'm wrong.

Bannon released a statement. Everyone needs to read it before falling the frick apart. It's no a big deal.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38483093

I agree. Bannon is a total non-issue. It's just a media pump to take pressure off Rice--->Obama. Believe the "gas attack" might be exactly the same thing in a 2 birds 1 stone sort of way, and from higher up the food chain.

I totally agree. Trump is turning into another Bush. Hopefully one that's smarter than Jeb. Bannon was one of the last conservatives around him, the other two off hand being Ben Carson and Jeff Sessions. Ben is not in that significant a role and I don't think Sessions is going to do much of anything. Trump's not going to investigate anything - he's decided it's easier to go along with the Swamp.

I'm still grateful he beat Hillary but my expectations for Trump have gone WAYYYYYYY down. I see him pursuing the RINO path of war and big government. He'll eventually can the Wall or have some lesser version of it. He already put an Obamanoid in charge of the border patrol apparently.

So I'm looking to 2020. Right now I'm wondering if Rand Paul can make it - looking very leaderly these days and he seems to be a man of principle.

Don't give up on Trump. He's playing a bad hand. Give him time.

If he goes to the dark side I will drop him.
 Quoting: LJM77

he has played the wrong hand ... and gone oily tar black

ffs - Theresa may goes to saud with the head of the 'city of londonistan' then she and trump peddle this shite - all within 48 hours -too tidy

their empty mouths , murderous saud words

the 'cost' of their continued 'support ' in their 'deal '

trump's protection was removed the moment he bowed to the saud
( and TM has just changed her path too -stupid greedy mare)

I hope he is man enough to climb down and retreat from this stance - I sincerely hope but there is no 'wait and see' here

if he is prepared to threaten innocent blood for these money bloated monsters

innocent blood will be threatened

drop for drop

the price of empty words and cowardice

he has been warned - these children he would murder

they are just as precious as his own

I'm more than a little surprised at the lack of faith. Time and time again he plays them. Only once in the speech I heard him directly mention Assad to blame. 90% of it was description to the horror of the event (which it was). "A line was crossed", "you'll see"...His classic purposeful ambiguity.
Now, the job is to find the truth. We've been here before. And again, the question, WHY would Assad do this? What is the strategic advantage to gain? If you answer, "he's a madman!", then I personally put you in the same category as the people who call Trump a racist, homophobic, xenophobic...Whatever.
I think...We WILL see...And I hope the whole world will see.

OK, guys, listen. Steve Bannon is a man who likes to lurk in the shadows, pretending he is an evil genius. And yet he is stealing the limelight from Donald Trump, because there’s just not much depth to Trump! Once you understand that Trump likes to grab them by the pussy, that he has the thinnest skin and the stupidest brain, and that there is a syphilitic wombat from hell living on top of his head, YOU PRETTY MUCH GOT IT.

And that last thing … that is key. Trump is not all “J” because Bannon is getting all the pussy in the White House, though if he is, WHITE HOUSE LADIES, PLZ RETHINK YOUR LIFE CHOICES. It’s because, in the public perception, we all kinda know President Bannon is the one who wears the pants in this relationship.

So say it: “PRESIDENT BANNON.” And it’s working, y’all. Today, Trump got one of his normal-size-handed staff members to escort Bannon off the NSC.

Re: It Appears That Trump Has Made a Tactical Decision to Appease the RINO's
Possibilities I want to make bets on, but too lazy to come up with odds:

Trump goes to war in Syria.

Trump goes to war with North Korea.

Trump goes to war with Brazil, for some reason.

Putin's assassinated or arrested.

Putin flees into the underground.

Worldwide uprising against the idiots and gangsters in charge (Probably very low, but still possible)

Trump goes to war with Russia as "just business".

Trump and company locked up, but is revealed as more a prologue than the main attraction of a civil war.

Big companies funnel money into R&D for cheap eco-friendly stuff without regards for planned obsolescence. (Again, very low)

Freaks and Geeks reunion special.

Korean War ends in total devastation and existential dread for generations.

By January 2018 world is a mess of authoritarian wannabe states (America, Russia, China, Turkey, India, far-right controlled EU?) ready to fight for the most petty and primal reasons.

Odds anyone?

 Quoting: LJM77

Honey....I HAVE given up on him. Today was the last straw and I don't even like Bannon personally. This is what I see with Trump:

Very impressive display of a lack of personal loyalty and gratitude:

1. Corey Lewandowski - got him past 16 assholes and then dumped when some press bitch made a fake stink.
2. Gen'l Flynn - very early endorser of Trump and dumped as soon as some bullshit came up with him and RINO Pence
3. Freedom Caucus - REAL CONSERVATIVES, many of whom backed Trump - being shit on because they wouldn't support RYANCARE which is just another fucked up version of Obamacare, which Trump was pushing with Ryan.

Of course, I hated that Trump supported that asshole Ryan in the primaries and didn't he also endorse Insane McCain?

Trump has not shown loyalty to those who have helped him, and he's surrounded himself with RINO, Neocon and anti-or Never Trumpers, like that stupid whore Nikki Haley. Reince Preibus as his CoS? WTF??????

Where are the CONSERVATIVES in his admin, in his cabinet - I'm sorry, I only see Ben Carson and maybe Jeff Sessions and that's it. The rest of them are RINOs, "moderates", Neocons and corporatists retreads. C'mon Mnuchin and fucking Rex Tillerson - Exxon exec actually becomes SECRETARY OF STATE? That is a fucking point blank admission that BIG OIL OWNS THIS COUNTRY.

Who does he push for the SCOTUS...a real conservative? NOOOOOOO...he pushes this asshole Gorsuck who didn't waste an opportunity to shit on him over the judge overturning Trump's Muslim EO. What, was it the NEXT DAY Gorsuck turned on him? Another Harvard asshole who will be JUST LIKE ROBERTS when we need a vote. UNTRUSTWORTHY and another member of the club.

Trump has surrounded himself with members of the club. Even the guy in charge of the border now apparently is an Obamanoid!!! WTF???? We're not getting that Wall either, you'll find that DOA, buried under some war bullshit.

Speaking of war, look at how he rapidly took up the Neocon position on Syria which is going to get us even more deeply embedded in the ME. Trump fucking KNOWS that Assad did not gas his own people! We went through this in 2013, and it was shown then that it was the fucking rebels WE CREATED.

Since he's been elected has Trump told us any secrets, any real truths about 911, or who the fuck Obama really is, or who killed JFK, or ANYTHING! NOOOOOOOO!!! GODDDAMMITTTT!!!! I'm getting angrier and angrier as I type!

And where are the prosecutions of those "good" people as he calls them, that fucking whore Hillary and her rapist husband and all the rest of these fucking pedophile degenerates?????? I DON'T SEE ANYTHING HAPPENING. And I don't think anything is GOING to happen.

I'm sorry....Trump has turned into a BUSH. And I will believe that until I see some real proof otherwise. I base my opinions on what people DO and I don't like what I have been seeing. I'm not seeing anything I DO like in fact, other than the jobs stuff and that's just him pandering to industry - which is fine, but any jackass can do that, if they're pro-business.

No, I don't think Trump's the one. I'm looking ahead to 2020. Maybe it will be Rand. Trump may be a groundbreaker in some ways that might make a real revolutionary possible. And that is what I want. The man who brings down the fucking Temple of Iniquity!
 Quoting: Mehitable 68162485

I stopped reading when you said where are the conservatives in his...

WTF makes you think Trump is a conservative? What are you a Cruztard?

Trump never ran as a conservative. He espoused a few conservative ideas, but who in their right mind thought he was a true blue conservative? He's not. Trump has beliefs on both sides of the aisle. Trump ran on America First. That's it. America First. And he is sticking too it.
He won't get too deep into Syria unless it is presented to him as a national security risk to America. And we don't have access to the intel he does, so we will have to trust his instincts on this. Trump has said several times before that he wasn't in favor of toppling Assad. So, I know he won't take the action lightly.

Trump is lucky that he has a lot of good soldiers. Frankly, I wouldn't be one of them. It really angered me at the time how he treated Corey. I never had an use for RINO Manafort and I think Kelly Anne is an embarrassment.

I have to be honest, as always, I just am not impressed with what I've seen of Trump in action, aside from the economic stuff, which is his strength of course. But other than that, I am NOT pleased at all. I'm not seeing the conservatism I want to see, I'm not seeing getting rid of the Obama/Clinton people, I'm not seeing the investigations, I was appalled by the whole Ryancare thing Trump tried to push on us. I'm frankly appalled again by the Syria bullshit. I'm appalled by his putting Kushner and Ivanka in his admin. I'm appalled by Gorsuch. I just am not seeing much I like. I'm grateful that he beat Hillary, whom I hate second to Satan, but I'm not enthused.

I think the rest of you will be joining me in a few months. I tend to be ahead of the curve in most things and I get reviled....and then people end up agreeing with me in the end. I just face facts sooner than most.

Re: It Appears That Trump Has Made a Tactical Decision to Appease the RINO's
I am particularly bullshit about Assad and Syria and Trump's remarks about this. It is NOT possible to know that Assad is responsible for this at this point, and it's very unlikely that he is, just as he wasn't guilty in 2013. I'm so fed up with this Syrian bullshit. This is all about the goddam gas pipeline to Europe that Assad blocked and that McCain and the other neocons are so desperate to get because it's so goddam much money and THAT is why they also hate the Russians - because of the rival proposed pipeline.

If Trump is stupid enough or cynical enough to go against Assad and unseat him, he will have his own devastating swamp in Syria to deal with. It will prove that he has NOT learned the lessons of the ME, which is...you leave the goddam strong man IN POWER and you the fuck home and mind your own fucking business and you bring racketeering and whatever other charges you can against pieces of shit like John McCain.

I just can't keep going through this shit over and over again and pretending that it's real or legit. IT'S NOT AND I WON'T SUPPORT THIS. We need, just as Trump said in the campaign, to get the fuck of the ME and STAY OUT.

Re: It Appears That Trump Has Made a Tactical Decision to Appease the RINO's
If Trump wants to stop the carnage in the Middle East, THEN STOP FUNDING AND SUPPORTING ISIS AND THE REBELS and come out and ADMIT that the US created these forces under Obama and Clinton and that John McCain was particularly involved with this. JUST COME OUT AND ADMIT THIS AND STOP SUPPORTING THESE PEOPLE!

That would be the honest and decent thing to do. It would be the RIGHT thing to do. And it would be the EFFECTIVE thing to do. But just putting us back in the ME swamp that Trump knows cost us SO MUCH MONEY and man power and has been such a disaster for 15 years is FUCKING INSANE.

THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!

He doesn't know what he is doing, I never thought I'd miss Obama but...

NEVER!!! Especially with all the underhanded deals that went on with the okay of our national security.

Exactly! Don't you think that Obama set it up so that everything would implode after he left? You are aware, are you not, that he was raiding the Fannie May and Freddy Mac funds to keep his Obamacare afloat? That little factoid has gotten lost in the back-and-forthing about the non-existent Russia stuff.

This should not surprise anyone. Does no one remember the 1990's? The realty tycoon? The guy who wrote the book, "The Art Of The Deal"? Principle has never been his hallmark. Wheeling and dealing is what he does.
 Quoting: Resister

And he's learned how to fine-tune the process so that he pretty much wins in the end. That's why I'm willing to sit back and wait to see what develops.

I think people have gotten used to 8 or more years of "reactive" governing. They are unfamiliar with "proactive" governing, where steps are actually taken to come out AHEAD of the curve rather than always trying to catch up.

We need to sit back, take a deep breath, and give the man a chance to do what he does best. It would REALLY be helpful if the Party and the Country at least made an ATTEMPT to work with him!
 Quoting: Eggcellently Deplorable

I'll sit with you, I doubted him once, was proved wrong, and said I would never do that again...

I have to laugh how the media is in a feeding frenzy and Trump keeps chumming the water while in the background he is getting his agenda through...

Aside: My dear Meh, have you seen Corey on TV lately? He has nothing but total praise for the president. Corey doesn't sound as if he is pulling a knife from his back at all...
 Quoting: deplorable but adorable davvi

 Quoting: Mehitable 68162485

And your plan B is what? You got shit. You complain, and like all you Monday morning quarterbacks take credit for Trump's win against all odds and then act as though replacing Trump on your whim will be easy while fucking Rome burns.

Who is your candidate? Give me an alternative to Trump? Put up or shut up.

Fucking asshole American suburbanites living in their asshole suburbanite, wish world bubble.
