Was making an overnight drive from Lubbock to San Antonio at high speed and a bat hit my driver's door mirror and got hung up there. I kept driving and it was flapping like crazy on my mirror for many miles. I do not believe it was alive anymore, when it finally dislodged and fell off. I guess it might've been though.

I found a dead one a couple of years ago in a spring pipe out in the wilderness.
