Piggly Wiggly's are all gone.



Nope... not all of them. There are two I know of in Denton, TX. They are like the real old school supermarkets I remember when I was a kid. There is something rather unstable about buying pork chops from a store with a cartoon pig mascot.

When I was a teenager I bagged groceries at a Winn-Dixie in a small Oklahoma town. This is rather moronic but I used find it so amusing that the Winn-Dixie slogan at the time "The Beef People"... and then I thought since I was an employee then that made me a Beef Person. Ha! Yeah, I know; I'm a moron... but funny to a zit faced 16 year trying to figure out how to score some beer and checking out girls in the produce section.
