Forget Gotham Shield... Operation JERICHO is in full swing

This was a short lived but heavily fan supported show on CBS.

The show starts out with 23 US cities being nuked.
You later find out that it was a false flag attack by people WITHIN the US government that was used as an excuse to nuke Iran and North Korea.

The USA splits up into 6 different countries.

Later, the Western United States is taken over by a Corporate Military Dictatorship run by a Corporation much like Halliburton/Blackwater, who attempts to rewrite the Constitution, and "restore order" by imposing MARTIAL LAW IN AMERICA and rounding people up into "FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMPS".

Civil War results.

The development of this show had heavy involvement with both the CFR and Rand Corporation.
This scenario is on the Elites' minds, not only that, but they are willing to make a show about it- that should probably ring some alarm bells...

It was said that Homeland security gave the producer's of the series a lot of flack saying it hit to close to home.

WE the people will drag the elite and their families from their bunkers. It is already planned. Thank your militia, candy asses.

Loved the show, not to sure I want to live it.

Probably the best doom show ever produced.
Although Last Ship is a close second (written and directed by the same guys, lol)

I watched this show when it was first on, long before I "woke up". I started watching it again two weeks ago and am 3 episodes from the end. It feels closer to truth than fiction.

The Day After is a sad sack of shit compared to Jericho.
It's a libtard doom wet dream.

Jericho is basically a documentary of exactly how things would reorganize after a massive nuclear event.

Its not Jericho until the Hawk tells me there are some buckets of sunshine on the loose.

Just finished watching Jericho with my wife, it's riveting.

Exactly. While some of the show is "hollywood", a lot of Jericho seems like it was written by a survivalist/GLPer. Nukes, fallout, mass migration, roving bands of looters, aid drops from China, barter at the fairgrounds, civil war - it's all in there.

I enjoy "The Last Ship" as well as "Designated Survivor". Reminds me of a news report a couple of months ago by no other than Bill Gates, who warns of an impending epidemic killing millions.

Never heard of this show, so I'm gonna check it out along with these that I haven't seen.

I was optimistic about Last Survivor but once the whole FBI assistant director has to meet the kidnapper's demands and there's only one other agent in the whole FBI doing any investigations, I lost interest. Plus the whole POTUS has only one USSS agent thing...

Hmm, nice. I do love me some post apocalypse. Will add these to my watch list. Friend of mine recommended A Boy and His Dog.

I forgot about this one, it's based on a NWO takeover instead of EMP/Nuke, but the rich dude was prepped well and they spelled out a lot of things GLPers would already know for those who don't.

The things that made the show "real" to me:

- wipeout of major cities but life goes on

- immediate panic followed by reason, but only in small communities

- trade centers (i.e. blackjack fairgrounds)

- roaming herds of people migrating out of hot zones to find food and/or escape weather

- AWOL bands of militants roaming for supplies/fuel but claiming to represent the central authority

- war between neighboring towns/states/etc. (jericho vs. new bern)

The list goes on... very good show.
