There's much tension between Greece (Cyprus and Egypt and more or less France too) and Turkey in the Eastern Med.

The turkish research vessel Oruc Reis is in the greek continental shelf accompanied with military ships, the greek navy is in the region watching and calling them to move out.
The vessel is supposed to make oil research using wires in the bottom of the sea. They have put the wires but dont do seismic echo research yet, or this is what they say.
