It could be temporary, but the transportation costs now outweighs the labor cost in the US, so it's better to just build a plant in the US. Quite frankly, this is spelling disaster for China and it's not exactly a good thing since the Communist party isn't going to go down lightly. We're seeing huge increase in military spending in China and a more aggressive China because of this situation. How this turns out is anyone's guess. |

It already is, Chinese population is already predicted to drop dramatically because of this. 1.2 billion to 800 million or less in the next few decades. I guess you could say the one child policy was successful? I don't know. It's definitely going to have a huge affect on manpower in the country when there are a lack of people for certain positions. |
