I have heard reports that it is being considered to create permanent work "camps" (prisons of a sort) for re-offending
drug addicts after they have been through treatment etc 3 times. These camps would be fenced in communities with barracks for both male and female but all would be kept
on medication to tone down their sex drive and avoid pregnancy. They would be given factory type work to pay
for their incarceration. And kept segregated from the rest of the world for everyone's protection.
And have wondered if this could be true.
It rings of Nazi Germany.
But would make it safer for the rest of us.

Complete nonsense. The feds don't prosecute street level drug crimes, or use. This is the jurisdiction of state and county law enforcement as a rule.

I am against "for profit prisons" in theory, but government institutions are so inefficient, that they make sense financially.

Weed should be legal. There is no need to lock up pot smokers.
