I met Kim Thayil's mom once back in 1999.

She was judging a small little art contest in Park Forest, IL and I had won a small little $100 prize for my artwork.

I believe he is still alive...his "character" was removed from the world stage. Two very interesting items regarding him are below....

1st off, his encore and his last song the night he died was Led Zepplin's "IN MY TIME OF DYING", where he sang "In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn".

#2 = PREDICTIVE PROGRAMMING! Check out this 1 minute of an older music video of his. He is hanged and his body removed...BUT HE ISN'T DEAD and he walks away!!! LOL
