How does one start at the base of your pyramid where ignorance begets karma formations, if one does not ask to be born?

Had you not posed your original question, none of us would have had the opportunity to 'connect' the way we did today.

All I know is that my spirit feels so charged by this, I wouldn't be surprised if I actually have an aura. I guess I'll have to wait for nightfall to see it this is true!

What I love most about GLP is the sense of community it invariably affords us. Through the years I've come to enjoy my time here more than being out and about in a world where people are more wrapped up in their material lives, than coming together to share feelings, ideas, and information.

In some ways I've come to think of myself as a hermit, completely happy to look within than without.

Maybe we are the true guardians of (this portion of) the galaxy. The ones who see and hear and keep watch and feel its pain the most, because we've come to that point in our journey where it's no longer about us, but everything around us.

I think it's a blessing.

Anyway...thanks goes to you for opening up a door we needed to pass through.

I know exactly what you mean about feeling charged in the spirit... wow. It's days like these when God pours out his blessings and nourishes us that I feel so unworthy for having been down-trodden with sorrow, and yet He loves me still.

I can feel your aura from here (I can see it too, but I wouldn't want anybody to think I'm crazy or anything ).

That you found yourself a hermit for want of substance and quality over vapid quantity is nothing short of a wonderful testament to your loving soul.

Interesting word choice with guardian, because I've felt that way all throughout my life. Regardless of age, even, I have always felt like a custodian here, with a watchful eye like a father toward children; and with watchful eyes as a child to the Father.

The gulf is really calm. My favorite beach is cape cod.
