Well I know jail is an option, I just didn't know taking someone's license away was. Here jail isn't an option, but my charges for driving suspended are. I build houses. They took away my building license... and my MA HIC (ability to create contracts) too. They took away my fishing license lol. I paid almost 100k in 9 years and all of it was suspended for 7k. So let me get this straight... They want you to PAY but took all of the things away from you that enables you to do that??? WTF???  |

I had a friend who only owed around $2,000 in back child support and they froze his bank account that had close to $10,000 in it. He didn't get access to his account for close to six months. They actually kept a few hundred extra that he never got back. While I think you absolutely should take care of your kids, I think it is fucked up that a woman can decide she doesn't want the responsibility of a child and can LEGALLY kill it, but if a guy doesn't want the responsibility, he can't even skip out of town without losing almost everything.
