Feel like Going Galt / bugging out

I'm late 20's and feel like getting out of the country as the decline is like a snowball, building and gathering speed and intensity.

Try to start a new business and bylaws, taxes, fees make it nearly impossible unless you borrow a ton, and once successful usually- get eaten or squeezed out by the corporations

Women are not as fun (or stable) as they once were, offering very little at a very steep investment and not suited for marriage

it's illegal to just have a drink outside or have a bonfire without someone calling the cops, because they're having no fun so they try to ruin yours

Canada has not changed, same classic rock songs on the radio last 20+ years, same people complaining about the weather, politics, no culture, a good forty years behind other countries.

Lots of tattoos and trends but no personality or authenticity, lots of drunks


When I traveled abroad, there was so much beauty and freedom- family is still considered very important, everyone eats and hangs out together, people mind their business and it's affordable to have a life outside of work. Time to find a home outside the west..
