Laptop ban on Airlines: guess what happens
Homeland security is debating on banning laptop on airlines (international flats they say).

Well guess what just happened...a laptop catches fire at 38,00p feet. Emergency landing in Michigan

In every operation, whether planning it or executing it, you can never count on luck; but you have to accept it, and recognize it when it’s there.

Obvious psyops are obvious. This wasn't needed unless they were going to ban them on domestic flights as well.

If airlines just stored the laptop computer batteries during the flight, that might lessen a fire risk.

no they wouldn't.

the end objective is restricting travel for effective concentration [camping] and elimination

72033542 see my above posts. These psyops will cascade until people are so turned off to flying, the backlash from travel restrictions will be manageable. that's my conjecture.

A 'slow frog boiling' ... 1st ban laptops ...tablets with cameras ... next smartphones with cameras (That got United in trouble when they assaulted the doctor and dragged him off the plane.)

Banning laptops will destroy the biggest demographic of business class flyers.

Re: Laptop ban on Airlines: guess what happens
I gave up flying and I feel much better for it.

No more being treated de facto like a felon, being groped, asked to strip down to bare feet, having my belongings pawed through behind the scenes, being asked to "step aside" over a bar of soap or a ziploc bag of salt, etc., etc.

Going through international borders on a bus or train goes much faster and more civilized. I don't mind being asked where I'm going, how long I'm staying, etc., but I resent the "norm" of being forced to walk bare-foot through an x-ray machine and generally being treated like a criminal.

And don't get me started on how the seat sizes (even in business class) have shrunk. Train travel might be slower, but it's far superior in comfort and civility. Plus, it's easier on your body.

I hope never to have to fly again.

well the problem with that is people aren't honest...they won't declare their contraband.

that's why TSA has a sale about every 6 months with items that people know shouldn't be brought on board.

how about everyone flies naked, no luggage, that has to be shipped separately.

You can hide and encrypt your data at home, then pull it down on a cheap ass chromebook or something once your stateside.

I know its not perfect but its something everyone SHOULD do anyways just to protect your valuable laptop and keep the govs hands off it.

Yep, because they don't normally do this. They had to jimmy this one I'm sure, to get it to melt down.

hope it applies to government and military

but it won't

which (considering the countless proven traitors in government and military) proves it is a bs measure meant to harass the public and nothing more

Same shit, different day..

It never ever seems to end with this tactic.

Will the public ever figure it out and stop their damn agenda?

Let's not forget the aftermath of the Underwear Bomber and Shoe Bomber..

I can see the day in 3 or 4 years' time when FULL BODY CAVITY SEARCHES will be a mandatory requirement to fly on a commercial airline in the US.

Think I'm just kidding?

Trust me, they will try anything ... as long as YOU LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT..
